When you get on the train you sit next to Ron and realize you totally forgot to introduce yourself. Right as Harry sits down a curly, brown haired girl walks in a shuts the door behind her.
When she turns around she notices you and says "Oh, I didn't know we had company." She sits in-front of you and reached her hand out. "Hi I'm Hermonie Granger." You reacher for her hand and shake it. "Y/N Smith."
You both smile and Harry says "I'm Harry Potter." You look at him and smile. "I know, your the boy who lived." You both smile and then the trolly woman passes by.
She opens the door and says "Anything from the trolly kids?" Harry gets his money out and Ron looks at you. "Harry's got this." He whispered and smirked.
"I know you asked me to stop buying the whole trolly but may I, just this once?" Harry begged. "The girl over there by the window, shes new here. Today's her first day. I thought we should celebrate."
The trolly woman sighed but smiled. She took the money, pushed the trolly inside and said "Welcome to Hogwarts."
And smiled at you before leaving. When she left they all laughed and you joined in. "I guess you used to do that often?" You asked.
Harry smiled at you and replied with "Everyday." After that you just sat back, looked out the window and relaxed. It was going to be a while before you got there. You eventually fell asleep.
1 1/2 later
You woke up and overheard the others talking about what house you would be in. "No, she looks more like a Slytherin if I'm being honest." Said Ron. "Well we don't go off of looks!" Hermonie shot back.
"Her personality it like a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff." Harry laughed and said "I hope she's in Gryffindor." They all nodded.
You picked your head up off the glass and rubbed your eyes. "Well good morning sleeping beauty." Ron said. "Morn-" you paused. You looked outside.
It was night. "It's night you dung brains!" You hit Ron on the shoulder and he laughed along with Harry. Hermonie rolled her eyes and continued reading what looked to be a spell book.
"Hey Hermonie?" You asked. She looked up. "What are you reading?" Hermonie placed a book mark on her page, closed it, and looked at the title. She read aloud "Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger."
You looked confused but nodded like you knew. "It's for learning potions and such." You looked amazed but leaned back. "So how long until we get there?" Hermonie looked at her watch.
"About an hour." You sighed. And for the rest of the time you sat there silent. Watching, waiting, listening. Eventually the train stopped and you jerked foward breaking contact with the window. You looked over at the others.
"Are we there?" Ron shook his head "No, some of the others are causing trouble for the driver." He said. "While we're waiting I guess we can tell you about some of the people." He continued, shifting over to look at you. "The people?" You asked confused.
"Like people I should be scared of?" They all laughed beside Hermonie. She was to busy reading her book. "You shouldn't be scared of anyone besides Harry." He laughed.
He got closer to you and whispered "He killed Tom Riddle."
You looked shocked at Ron then at Harry. He just nodded. You looked in awe for a while until Hermonie said "You don't need to be scared of anyone. Harry isn't that great."
Ron looked out the door looking away from Hermonie and said "Someone sounds jealous."
Hermonie didn't like that at all. "I am not jealous. I was just stating that she doesn't need to be afraid of anyone and she clearly isn't!" She got up and slammed her book. "If you excuse me I'm going to go see what's going on out there."
She glared at Ron before leaving. I felt bad. "Was that really necessary?" I asked looking at Ron. Ron shrugged "She can't take jokes anyways." And he continued to eat his chocolate frog.
I sighed and Harry said "Um, yes well I would watch out for Malfoy. He is full of himself. Thinking he's better than everyone." I looked at him.
"Draco Malfoy?" Harry nodded "Yes, how did you know?" I just shook my head. "The name just sounded familiar." Harry didn't believe me, I could tell by the look in his eyes. It's like he knew I was lying. "Well anyways Cedric and Luna are pretty nice people." Ron said.

"Oh I remember Luna!" I said gladly. "I remember her from when I was at Ron's house a few years ago. She came to help the twins."Ron nodded and continued "Yeah, she's brilliant! I also would stay away from Grabbe, Goyel, Pansy, and Blaise." He said and looked me dead in the eye. "Grabbe and Goyel are like his "evil minions" or something." He looked away towards Harry. The train started moving again and Hermonie came back and sat in her seat.
"And Blaise and Pansy are Malfoys only friends." I smirked a little but looked down so no one saw. If only they knew.
A few hours later
The trained stopped once again and everyone stood up. I did to. Harry smiled "Follow us." I followed behind Harry and Ron and Hermonie went behind me.
We walked out of the train and onto a platform in front of Hogwarts. Hermonie pointed to a river and said "We have to use boats and swim across to Hogwarts." I looked up and saw a big beautiful castle. Harry and Ron laughed and Hermonie smiled.
Hagrid gave his speech for all the 1st years. He saw me and noticed I wasn't a regular student but I wasn't a first year. He smiled and me and said "Welcome to Hogwarts." I smiled and Hermonie pulled me onto the boat and I giggled a little. "We're almost there" Ron said. I can't wait for the start of this year.TBC
