Is he the one; Matteo Riddle

PART FIVE

I got back to the lunch room and I notice Hermonie talking to the boy who gave me a dirty look. I walked over and sat down. "Hey, how was your studying?"

"It was good" I looked up at the boy. "Hi, I'm Y/N." "I know." He smiled "I'm Cedric."

I smiled and Hermonie said "I'll be right back Y/N. Ron wanted me to help with some homework." She got up and walked over to Ron and the Twins.

"So,"

I started. "What was with that look yesterday?" He looked confused, I could tell he was trying to play dumb. I rolled my eyes and got up.

I was about to walk away when he grabbed my wrist, he grabbed it tight, to tight.

"Wait." He said. I could feel my wrist getting hot. "I was flirting with you."

I tried to yank back but he gripped tighter. "You obviously don't know what flirting is." I could tell he got mad, making him squeeze harder.

"Ow! Let go your hurting me!" No one was paying attention to us or could hear us since they were farther away.

"You listen here you-" Cedric started. "That's enough." Matheo put his hand on Cedrics wrist and said "Let go of her. Now."

Cedric huffed and yanked his arm away. My wrist had a dark red hand mark. Matheo grabbed my wrist and examined it.

He was angry, no, furious. He looked at Cedric and said "You'll pay for that." He wrapped his arm around my waist and if I'm being honest, it made me feel safe.

We walked away to another table FAR away from him. He sat me down and sat in front of me. "What were you doing with him?"

He asked demandingly. "He was sitting with Hermonie. I went to sit when them but Hermonie left and-"

"Do not ever hang out or got near him, do you understand me?" He said. I nodded. He sighed,

"Good, now let's make sure your wrist will be okay." He grabbed it and looked at it again. "Does it hurt?" He asked still examining. "A little, it stings more than hurts. But it should go away soon right? It's nothing to bad."

He looked up at you and he looked hurt, but also still mad.

"Yeah, something like that." He held your hand for a minute then put it down. "Are you okay?" I asked. He looked up and smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine."

Then his face went serious. "But if he ever touches you again, I swears I'll-"

I laughed. "He won't, I won't go near him. And if he does I'll kick him in his-" "Y/N!" Hermonie interrupted. "What are you doing over here?! Especially with him."

Hermonie said giving a dirty look. "He's fine Hermonie, we're friends. He was just helping me out." I sighed.

"If you say so," She looks away from him to face me. "Anyways we better go. Charms class starts soon." I nodded and got up.

"See you later Riddle." He leaned back but didn't say bye.

Me and Hermonie walked up and caught up with the boys. When we got there we were a few minutes late.

"Care to explain why y'all were late?" Professor Filius Flitwick said. "We're so sorry sir, we have a new student and she got lost." Said Hermonie.

Professor Filius Flitwick looked at me and shook his head. "Have a seat." He said while opening the door. We walked inside and I realized Cedric was in the same class at me.

He was smirking. And since he and Hermonie are friends she tried to sit as close to him as possible. But since houses are separated we weren't to close. If Riddle was here, he wouldn't be very happy.

Time passed by slowly

I feel myself drifting off but then the bell rings and we are released. We packed our stuff up and I told Hermonie I wanted to go to our dorm so I can check on Zero, that's what I named my dragon.

She agreed and we went to the dorms. I read the book and it turns out I have a Welsh Green dragon. Dragons eat sheep, but baby dragons eat chicken blood.

"Hey Hermonie?" I asked. She looked up. "Do you know where I can get chicken blood? I need to feed my dragon." Hermonie nodded "I think Hagrid may have some. He has everything." I looked confused.

"Hagrid?" Before I could ask who that was Hermonie left to go get the blood. I picked up my dragon and held him like a baby.

I needed him to wake up so I can feed him. I woke him up gently and waited for Hermonie to return.

Twenty five minutes later

Hermonie ran in the room with what to appeared to be a bucket with red liquid. "I apologize for taking so long, Hagrid didn't have any fresh blood so he had to get some."

She walked over to me and handed me a bottle. "He said to put the blood in here and feed him like new born baby."

She set the blood down and took the Zero for me while I filled up the bottle. When I was done I took a flat book and put it on top of the bucket so nothing would get in it.

Hermonie handed me Zero and I fed him the blood. He ate it quickly. After I put him back in his cage and he fell asleep. "He sleeps like a baby" said Hermonie. We both laughed.

"I guess we should head to bed." Hermonie nodded and we got ready for bed. When the light was off Hermonie asked me "Why are you friends with him? You know, Matheo. He is Tom Riddles brother."

I sighed. I guess she couldn't sleep without an answer. "He's different Hermonie, he's actually caring. I got hurt earlier and he helped me. He's different."

I guess Hermonie was tired because she didn't answer and I heard her snoring. I giggled. "Well good night to you to then."

Sorry if you thought the ending was rushed. I just have so many ideas and I want to get them out!

Okay I know a lot of people aren't going to like that Cedric is mean but he gets better.

You'll end up having mixed feelings about all the characters. It's going to be a roller coaster of emotions. Anyways hoped your enjoyed! Now continue reading! ^^
