Chapter - 32

The bat boys had zero time to register the fact that a GOD was in their Infirmary. They scrambled around, racing to get whatever they needed for the battle in Paris.

"DAMIAN!!! CONTACT JON SO HE CAN HELP!!" Bruce yelled at his son, as he frantically typed on the bat computer to see the city's status.

"I'M ALREADY DOING THAT" Damian yelled, swearing to himself and at Jon because he wasn't picking up.

"FINALLY!!! Suit up and meet us at the manor. No questions asked. And do it quickly Kent" He snarled into the phone before switching it off.

"We're not coming. We're staying with Amy" Bianca said, gesturing to Luke who was getting whatever Apollo needed.

Percy nodded. "That's alright. Just make sure she's ok alright?" He said and she gave a confirmation nod.

Jon was seen floating around out side, waiting for everyone to get ready.

"Ok I'm going to open the portal now" Percy said.

He raised his hand, and a swirling dark blue portal opened up. Without wasting a second, everyone jumped inside, preparing for the worst.

Well they got the worst alright.

The first thing everyone noticed when they jumped out of Paris was how the buildings were simply destroyed.

Broken down, chunks of rocks lying here and there, and civilians desperately running for cover. It was like a war had happened and they were witnessing the aftermath.

"Shit, Hawkmoth really went all out didn't he?" Red Hood whispered in horror.

"Reminds me of The first battle of Manhattan. Minus the red flying bugs" Percy said, trying to lighten the atmosphere.

"First things first. Percy, you and your friends need to take the civilians away from the moths and to a safer location. Jon, you and the bat boys have to engage with the villains. Fight back, and try to locate the akumatized objects. Since this is Scarlet Moth, the akumatized object would be the only thing having colours other than red. Robin, you're with me. We have to find my friends, the other heroes" Ladybug said, quickly assessing the situation.

Percy felt weird receiving orders, but to him it was a good difference. He preferred this rather than giving out orders.

It would also take his mind off of Amy for a bit.

"Got it. Wise Girl?" He asked her, and she nodded.

"Jason, Thalia, Leo, and Nico. Act as cover and be as fast as you can to take the civilians away. Piper, Frank, Hazel and I will direct the civilians to you Percy. Use your Chaos powers and make a barrier between them and the moths. Fight if you have to" Annabeth said quickly.

The demigods nodded, and split up, immediately implementing the actions.

Percy sprinted out of the war zone, dodging the red moths and trying to find a safe spot. His eyes widened before he opened a mind link.

Bad news. These moths are trying to get out of Paris. He stated.

Oh shit. Red Hood said into his mind.

I'm creating a barrier. This also means we can't go out. And no one can come in. We're on our own. He stated.

There was silence, before someone spoke up.

Do it. I don't think we can handle akumatized Superman and wonder Woman. Ladybug thought.

Remember that only those who I will to pass can pass. The civilians will be on the outskirts of Paris. He reminded them.

All right. Piper said.

Vapor travelling to the outskirts of the city, Percy knelt down and placed his hands on the ground.

Dark Cupid, who was circling above recognised what he was doing and immediately swooped down, drawing out an arrow.

Brilliant blue light circled around the borders of Paris as Percy started to construct a barrier.

"You should try harder if you want to akumatize me" He stated, merely glancing at the arrow as it got deflected.

Growling, Dark Cupid flew down, but was stopped.

The barrier.

It had risen fast enough for him to be unable to come out. Percy grinned, and gave a two fingered salute to the angered akumatized villain.

He drew out his dagger, flashing it in his face, scaring the kid. Drawing his arm back, he flung the dagger with full force at the bow in his hand which was incidentally the akumatized object.

Snapping in half, the red moth fluttered out as the now identified Kim started to fall from the sky, screaming.

Percy rolled his eyes, and ran through the barrier, catching the boy.

"Why did you-" The boy started before the demi-primordial cut him off.

"You might be friends with that sick liar but that doesn't mean I let you get controlled or die" He stated.

Setting the boy down, he directed him outside the barrier and to an empty warehouse, forcing him to stay there.

Then, looking at the red moth, Percy got an idea.

It was stupid yes.

It was dangerous also yes.

It was universe threatening, yes.

Did he care? No.

Of course not. Amy would have done the same had she been here. Problem was now he had to figure out how to proceed with his idea WITHOUT letting Annabeth know.

Because he knew that if his girlfriend found out, he would have much rather gone to Hell again.

Oh jeez.

Why was he always the one getting stuck in dramatic and almost life threatening situations like this?
