The road was getting wider. The trees were younger than the ones behind. The forest was thinner and I could see we were getting close to its edge. In the distance, the trees were pretty far from each other. The forest itself had been changing while we were passing through. I thought we have been going in circles once, but we were on the right path. I had another feeling one hour ago and I sensed that the path we were on was all right - I could already see a massive cliff ahead of us, near another chasm.
One could see it with his bare eyes, but not that clearly. It was obvious that the chasm was smaller than the one I and Kakashi had fallen in, but it was still, dangerous. And close to its edge, there was a cliff, which looked, from far away, like some kind of a mountain.
"Any other feelings, Ori?" Naruto asked. He was excited.
"Um..." I sighed, scratching the back of my neck. "Well... It's the right way, but um... I- I have a bad feeling."
"So what? It's okay to be stressed!" Sakura said.
"No!" I rolled my eyes. "No, I mean, I have a bad feeling about this. About where we're heading. Maybe that cliff, maybe this forest. I think someone is after us. Again."
"You feel their presence?" Sasuke said, turning around, because he was walking in front of me. Sakura was next to him and she blushed when she heard his voice.
"No..." I shrugged. "I just... It's like something bad it's gonna happen. And I feel it. Don't you guys have those kind of feelings...?"
"Not really!" Sakura smiled. "But don't worry. We've won until now."
I felt a thrill crawling on the back of my neck. So what if we've won until now? There's always going to be a next challenge. Kakashi, who was right next to me, touched my back. Heat exploded inside my stomach and I tried not to blush. At all. Of course I couldn't... I looked at him after I forced myself to cool down. His palm was warm through the thin material.
"Even if we get attacked, we'll be ready!" he spoke. "Don't worry. Plus, it's okay you feel these things. Probably it's all connected to the Blue Bird's magic."
"Of course we have no reason to worry!" Naruto punched the air, turning around. He was leading the group. "We're Team 7!"
I smiled a bit. We were Team 7, but still, we weren't able to detect everything. We didn't have a Byakugan. For one moment, I wished Neji was there with us. He would've been really helpful. Now, only us, we had to wait for the enemy to come closer, in order to sense his presence. Otherwise, no...
