"I don't know when to give up!"
My voice came out with a strong echo and Orochimaru's creepy smile widened. Naruto seemed moved by what I said and I offered him a small smile, but I looked back at my enemy. My heart pounded. I knew I felt something different when my heart beat stronger, only if for just one second.
I could feel something changing inside me, just a little bit. Maybe the bird was waking up. Maybe I was going to beat him, after all.
"Orochimaru." I said again. He locked eyes with me. "I will defeat you and I will get my parents back. You just watch us! Maybe you managed to hurt our friends two years ago, but you got away with it. Lucky you... Well, not anymore. I've been training for the past five years and I've gotten so far. To save them. That's my Ninja way."
"And we will not let you destroy it..." Kakashi added, his voice proud.
My cheeks burned.
Orochimaru burst into laughter. "You're just like your parents and those idiots back in Konoha, Orinai... You all have this... how do I say it..."

"This... idea. One's Ninja way... That's stupid!" Orochimaru giggled, shaking his head slightly. "Your Ninja way is about to be destroyed. Once you've stepped inside this cave, you decided what you future is going to be. You will be mine."
"Shut up!" Kakashi shouted, pointing with the kunai at our enemy. Orochimaru seemed surprised; Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke as well.
"As annoying as ever... Kakashi..." Orochimaru whispered, offering Kakashi a big smile. "What, you're afraid of losing this poor girl? Don't get so jealous... it's not her that I want. It's the power within her. You can have her corpse back when I'm done with it..."
"What?!" Sasuke yelled, stepping forward.
"Shup up, Sasuke!" I said, pushing him back.
Sasuke popped his eyes at me, because my voice was really powerful. I told him to step back, I told Kakashi to cool down and I moved my eyes back on Orochimaru.
"I know you want the Blue Bird's power... Or... whatever that legend is... Okay. So... why don't you free my parents and take me instead? You could've done that from the very beginning!"
