CHAPTER NINE

Martin and Alissa are making me go to this beach party they said that they are going to bring some friends. This is not going to be good.

I don't like parties at all.

Because people go crazy, get drunk, make bad decisions and get really hangovers in the morning.

But I've decided that I am going to this stupid beach party.

I'm now sitting on a stool in the kitchen eating some cereal when my sister comes over and sits next to me "good morning Stella" I said smiling at her, she smiles back "morning Maya" she said. She grabs some cereal as well and started eating it. While we were eating she started to say something "so, I heard Alissa said that you're going to a beach party happening tonight" she said, "how do you know that?" I asked "I heard you talking about it all night" she answered.

Oh. Right.

After breakfast I washed some dishes and went back upstairs to my room and went straight to my clothes and started decided what to wear tonight "I mean this bikini looks nice and colourful and this bikini looks simple" I said to myself looking at two sets of bikinis. As I was changing what to wear I suddenly got a text from Alissa.

You ready for tonight girl I'm so excited - Alissa aka Party girl ❤️❤️❤️

After a few hours, I heard a knock on my bedroom door and obviously know who it was so I opened it anyways "hello! Maya!" She shouted I giggled "hello to you to Alissa" then I see she was holding some bag and I was filled with clothes.

Alissa pulled some outfits out of the bags and told me to pick one. I picked out a yellow sundress and those nice black sandals.

"Nice dress, Jones," she said looking at what I was wearing. After a bit, we started to get hungry so we got some snacks from the pantry downstairs and quickly went back upstairs back to my room.

Alissa went through her bag and brought out her makeup bag "now sit, we're getting started" she said grabbing all her make up sat me down on my stool at my desk. She started doing me my makeup, foundation, concealer, blush, highlight, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick. After she was done I looked in the mirror in front of me and I stared at myself amazed.

"You like it?" She asked looking at me through the mirror I smiled "I love it" I said I got up giving her a big hug. We pulled away and heard Alissa buzzing and she pick it up.

"Martin here let's go," she said we grabbed our stuff and left. We walked out the door and we saw Martin standing there leaning against his Jeep smiling "ladies you're ready to hope on in" he said we get into his car and we drove off.

We arrived at the beach and I hear Alissa shouting with excitement "whoo! Let's go party!" She shouted jumping out of Martin Jeep. Martin and I both got out of his car and Martin grabbed some drinks out of his car "so Maya your drinking tonight" Martin asked "you know I don't drink, right" I said to him and raised my eyebrow "oh yeah I know" he said, "then why did you ask?" I asked him he shrugged.

We walked up to the party and people were already drunk and partying they're asses off. I looked around and I see people making out with each other, smoking and drinking.

Even Martin and Alissa were making out. Gross

I knew it was only going to be alcohol around so I just grabbed Coca-Cola from Martin car and I started drinking it. In the cornered my eye I could Jayden hanging out with his friends while beers laughing about whatever they were talking about I looked overseeing what they were when he caught me staring.

Jayden Gomez, my ex, the guy that ruined everything for me.

I quickly looked away and begging for him not to come up to me but it was already too late he already did "hey Maya what's up you're looking fine as hell" ugh someone kill me "what do you want Jayden" I said a little aggressive "Woah girl just here to say hi" he said "well that wasn't a hi" I said turning around with my back facing him.

I really don't want to deal with him right now.

Everyone was still partying and I was on the sand watching them. I felt a hand on my shoulder and instantly looked up to see it was Martin and he looked like he needed help.

"What's wrong, Martin," I said a little concerned he and I looked over where Alissa was and I could see that she is so drunk "you need help to get her home?" I questioned he answered with a nod.

He helps me up and we started walking over to where Alissa was, talking to some girl "hey Alissa we're going home now" I said calmly she give me a frown and then started whining "nooo I was having fun with my friends" she said clearly about to past out.

Martin quickly grabbed her holding her bridal style back to his car. We finally get her in the car and I in the backseat next to her so she wouldn't do anything stupid.

Alissa was home safe and sound Martin and I stayed for a bit give her some water and Advil so she wouldn't have bid hangover in the morning. After Martin took me home.

What a wild day.
