CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

Staring down at the dress that laid down on my bed thinking if I should wear the dress. Teddy brought me a sparkly black dress with a deep v-cut within the centre. 'Oh god this dress in expensive and sparkly' i thought to myself. I grabbed the dress and went to the bathroom to try it on. As i was trying on the dress I heard someone coming into my room "hey Maya I'm here your best friend, I mean I'm your only best friend, wait you've got other best friend i think was your best friend" I heard Alissa said I opened the toilet door and she or he suddenly stopped what she's doing and stared at me "your my number one best friend, Alissa" I said. She still hasn't said anything and kept staring at me up and down "Alissa you okay?" I asked her "you look.....amazing" she said shocked "I know I look wonderful do I" I said pretty pleased with myself. I looked within the mirror and checked out my butt and that i gasped "Alissa I got an ass" I said shocked "I know girl you have a fat ass and Vinnie is going to love that ass" she said. She sits me down on my desk and grabbed all my makeup and began beating up my face. She's done doing my makeup and my eyes are closed as she told me to not look before she started. "Open your eyes!" She said with excitement I opened and looked within the mirror and my jaw dropped "I know speechless, right" she said pleased with herself "I love it" I said.

Alissa and i went downstairs and we saw everyone there. everyone eyes widened as they saw us "that dress looks amazing Alissa" I said. She flips her hair and twirls around showing off her dress. we each laughed "you know we should go together, just you and me ditch Vinnie and Martin" I said "they heard us Maya" she whispered in my ear I turned around and saw them standing right behind "hey guys what's up" I said scratching my neck "so....you and Alissa were going to ditch us huh" Vinnie said with a  smirk on his face "I-um maybe?" I said. He grabbed my waist and turned me around, he gave me a kiss and checked out the dress I'm wearing and i can tell his speechless "so....you like it?" I asked him but he standing there still speechless "Vinnie?" "Huh" his eyes dawned to me "how do I look?" I asked him "you look....beautiful"  he said I grabbed and leaded him out the door as Martin and Alissa followed.

We arrived at the big building where numerous of my relatives are here, I saw this huge chandler within the centre. "Holy shit this place is huge" Vinnie said shocked and amazed I giggled at what he said. As Vinnie and i were talking I heard someone calling my name, I looked around to see who was and i wouldn't believe who it is "baby I'll be right back" I said he nods I walked to the opposite side of the place. As I walked up to the person instantly recognised him "Ayden?" I said I smiled as I walked up to him. "Maya? Is that you?" He asked "yeah it is" I answered. I haven't seen him in five years ago, the last time I saw him was within the eighth grade graduation. Ayden looked over where Vinnie was, who was sitting on a chair at a table drinking something "there's someone staring at us Maya and he is and I think he's definitely staring at me" he said I giggled.

I grabbed his arm and pulled him where Vinnie is. I sat next to Vinnie as Ayden sat on the opposite side of the table "Vinnie, this is Ayden, Ayden, this is Vinnie my boyfriend" I said introducing him to Vinnie "so, Ayden, how do you know Maya?" Vinnie asked him "we've known each other our whole lives but, we haven't seen each other since eighth grade graduation" Ayden explained I smiled Vinnie stared at him a little suspicious I grabbed his hand and looked at him "what are you doing?" I asked him "I don't trust him" he whispered "we're friends that's it there's no one else just you" I said.

A few hours passed and we are sitting in a table with food that I can't even pronounce. As Vinnie and i were eating Ayden came over with a girl following him behind "oh my god Maya is this you" the girl said freaking out in excitement "yeah, that's me" I said smiling "Ayden told me all about you and you sound pretty cool" she said "I am pretty cool am I" I said. She tells her name is Stephanie, she sounds pretty cool. we were talking enjoying our conversation "so, you've got a boyfriend?" I asked her "I mean yeah we together but he just got out of jail for doing something bad so.....yeah" she answered I froze at what she said 'please don't tell me it's him' i thought to myself "mind if I ask who it is" I said really scared of what she goes to say next.

She was getting ready to speak when that person who came and sat next to her and gave her kiss on the cheek "Jayden?" I said "hey Maya" he said smiling "isn't he cute" she said I quickly got up out of the chair "where are going?" Jayden asked me with head tilted to the side smirking. I walked out looking everywhere for but I couldn't find him. I finally found and he was talking to Ayden outside on a bench "skating?! dude that sick" Ayden said. He saw me and tapped Vinnie on the shoulder he pointed to me and he turns his head and looked at me. He stood up and walked up to me "Maya? Are you okay?" He asked me worried and concerned "can we go now" I said as tears started rounding down my cheeks. He brushed the tears off my cheeks and gave me a kiss "okay".

We arrived home and i ran upstairs to my room and closed the door behind me sitting on the floor crying "Maya please open the door" I detected Vinnie say on the other side of the door "please just leave me alone" I said sobbing "please Maya". I got up off the floor and open the door I let him in I jumped in his arms and began crying into his chest "shh my love you'll be okay I promise" he said giving me a kiss forehead. My lay on my bed and he lies behind me with his arm wrapped around me "goodnight my love" he said then we fell asleep.
