CHAPTER EIGHT

I woke up to something hitting my head repeatedly, "wake up Maya" turns out it was Stella, hitting me with a pillow I groaned covering myself with my blanket "get out Stella" I tell her but, she obviously didn't listen because she keeps on hitting me with that stupid pillow "Stella, stop" I warned her but she still listen.

After a while Stella finally got out of my room and started to get ready for the day. Today Alissa and I are going to have a girls day out and she insisted that I wear something really nice, I went into my closet and I'm looking around to find something nice to wear. I keep looking around til I found this really cute flower sun dress that I haven't wore in ages.

The last time I wore it was when Martin invited me to a beach party two years and that's when I met my first love, well, my ex, and the guy that took my virginity.

Should I wear it, I don't know should I? It wouldn't hurt. Right?

I stared at that dress and thoughts started going through in my head.

Sitting on the sand drinking Coca-Cola out of a red solo cup watching everyone playing on the water. When a guy walks up to me around six feet tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, wearing only swimming short, also I a drink in his hand.

"Why are you sitting here rather that out there" he said pointing to everyone in the ocean. He comes closer and sits next to me "because I don't want to be here and I just don't like being in the water" I explained he laughs and I looked at him confused "you're funny you know" he said still laughing "no seriously I don't" I said then he stops laughing and looks at me "seriously you don't" I nodded.

We sit in silence for a bit til he spoke up "you look really pretty" he compliments me "thank you" I replied "so you wanna get out of here?" He asked "yes" I immediately agreed. We both up and sneak out of the party.

I didn't even tell Martin that I was going out of this party with this guy.

I hate him and I'll always will.

My thoughts have been interrupted by some knocking on my bedroom door I grabbed my bag and answered the door and it was Alissa standing there looking great as alway "you ready to have some fun?" She asked excitedly doing her weird happy dance "yes okay let's go" I said.

I went to downstairs and I said goodbye to my mum and my sister and we both walk out of the door. As we were walking to her car I forgot that I left my phone in my room, so I told Alissa that I forgot my phone in my room and I rushed inside. I got my phone and I rushed back downstairs as I was rushing my mother stopped me "and where are you going Maya?" My mother asked with her arms crossed on her chest "I'm going for a girls day with Alissa" I answered "okay have fun" I smiled and rushed out the door.

"What took you so long?" She asked "sorry my mother stopped me" I answered. We got into her car and drove off. As we were on the road I saw someone familiar in their car and instantly knew who it was and quickly ducked my head down and Alissa saw from the review mirror "what are you doing?" She asked stopping at a red light.

Great, just great.

"Jayden" I whispered slowly pointing to the direction to beside her "hey girls" he said but I didn't answered "hello Jayden" Alissa said really not in the mood for trouble right now. Mean while I'm just sitting in the passenger seat keeping my mouth, finally the lights turned green and we started driving again.

We arrived at the mall and Alissa was trying to find a parking and she finally found one. We got out the her car and walked up to the mall.

We enter the mall and we are walking around looking for a store to go in when I spot someone familiar walking with her friends looking all girly and shit like ugh, anyways we were still walking when she spotted us, Angelina Davis.

She's the girl that Jayden cheated on me with and oh I forgot to tell you that she was like the meanest of mean girls at my school last years and she's so pretty as well. But, what I've learnt since the break up is that, if they think you're not pretty enough then it's their loss.

"Maya are you okay?" Alissa asked giving me a concerned look "I'm fine, let's just go" I said.

We first went to some shoe stores to get some shoes. After that we went to the Gucci so I could get a new bag. We went to a few more store and after that we went to the food court to get something to eat.

"Oh my god I'm staving" Alissa groaned with her arms on her stomach I giggled. We finally got our food and we started eating. While we were eating Alissa's phone started buzzing, she picked it up.

"Hello?" She said. Her and the other person on the other side started talking as I waited I finished up eating my food and finally hung up and looked really excited "what happened?" I asked sitting here really confused as to what was going on "Martin invited us to a beach party tomorrow night" Alissa said with excitement
"a what!" I said whispering "a beach party? You okay Maya?" She said "yeah, just I'm not really interested on going to a beach party" I said "aww please" she begged giving me puppy dog eyes.

Ugh she can be annoying sometimes but I love her.

"Okay fine" I give in she jumps around in excitement and people were now watching us witch was really embarrassing.

I now eight pm and Alissa just dropped me off at home and I'm in my room thinking if I should or not. Hours of think I finally made my decision.

I'm going, and there's nothing that can stop me not even that jackass Jayden.
