CHAPTER SIXTEEN

It's ten o'clock in the morning, and I'm enjoying my breakfast peacefully when I see Michael running into the kitchen like a madman, "you okay?" "So, are you and Vinnie dating?" He inquired. I was about to respond when Vinnie entered the kitchen, grabbing something from the fridge, and said, "hey Vinnie." Michael said "Oh, hello, Michael," Vinnie said taking a seat next to me. "So, are you going to take Maya out for a date? I'm sure she'd enjoy it." Micheal said as he approached the kitchen counter, "wow, she'd love to go on a date with you," I said, looking over at Vinnie, who chuckled before grabbing me by the waist and throwing me on his lap.

When I began kissing him, I feel Michael make a disgusted face. "OK, I'm going out before things get too steamy," he said. I laughed while we kept kissing each other's faces. Alex and Kouvr came in as we were kissing and we had no idea they were there. I heard Alex clear his throat and we came to a halt as we slowly turned our heads to find them looking at us. "Hey, guys." Vinnie said, with an uncomfortable expression on his face, "we know about you two, Michael told us about you guys, he literally told everybody in the house." Kouvr explained.

We already knew he was going to tell everyone in the house because it's Michael, who else could it be? After we finished breakfast, I went upstairs to change for the day. Someone knocked on my door as I was changing, and I said, "I'm changing!" "It's me, I want to come in," I screamed, and I immediately recognised the voice. "Baby, I'm changing, you can't come in," I said, and while not paying attention, he opens the door.

I immediately shielded myself, saying, "I said don't open the door!" I yelled at him. He closes the door behind him and walks over to my bed, where he lies, saying, "I'll just wait for you." He said "Wear something today because we have a date." He said "Just kidding, you always look nice," he rambles. Oh, I almost forgot about our date. I finished getting ready and said, "I'm done." "Are you ready?" I inquired through the bathroom door. "Yes," he replied. As I walked out of the bathroom, I noticed his jaw drop, staring at the dress I was wearing, and I could tell he was at a loss for words. "Well" I said, I was a little worried about as to what he was going to say next.

He stood up from my bed and walked over to me, staring deeply into my eyes. His now looking down at me, his big hand on my cheeks, "you look beautiful, Maya," he says, then suddenly kisses me, "what was that for?" I ask, biting my lip gently with my arms around his neck, "because I love your lips touching mine," he says, chuckling.

We both went downstairs, and I saw Nate and that from yesterday. "Oh, hey, Maya, I brought your car here," he said, smiling. "Thanks, Nate," I said, thanking him. "Oh, no problem," he said, walking back outside to his Uber. I haven't told anyone I have a car because I think it will be a big deal, but everyone looked at me like I was a big deal, so I sighed and said, "Nate and Tayler got it for me as an early birthday present." That's why Tayler invited me to the triller compound," I explained.

Everyone was overjoyed that I had gotten a car and couldn't stop talking about.

We walked to his car, and he stopped me and opened the car door for me. "You know you didn't have to do that," I tell him, "you're my girlfriend, and that's what boyfriends do," he says. When we were driving, I was confused about where he was taking me. "Put this blindfold on," he said, handing me the blindfold, "okay?" I said I didn't have any more questions and just put it on. I was terrified but still really excited.

I sensed the car come to a halt, so I assumed we were there. "Can I remove the blindfold now?" I asked. "No, no, leave it on," he replied. I heard the car door shut and then open a couple seconds later on my end. "I didn't miss you baby, I promise," he said. I could hear the door closing behind me as he assisted me in getting out of the car. He placed one hand on my shoulder and the other on my hand, and we began walking. I could sense us walking on turf, so I thought it was something to do with grass. "You should remove the blindfold now," he said in my ear, and I did. I glanced about, shaken and at a loss for words, and said, "Well?" He said, "It's...beautiful," I said, "not as beautiful as you," he said, and I blushed.

Vinnie sat on the picnic blanket, grabbing food from the blanket while I lay down to eat strawberries. "A picnic, huh? Where did you get the idea?" I asked him, "It's all me, I figured you'd like it," he said, playing with my hair. I picked a grape and fed it to him. "What is your favourite TV show?" He asked me, "Don't come at me, but...... My little pony," I said, and he laughed, "Don't laugh," I said, and hit his shoulder.

The rest of the night was just looking up at the stars as we cuddled up to each other.
