CHAPTER THIRTY

"Can I come in?" he said softly. Without me anything, I just walked out of his way to let him in. He came inside and he looked all wet from the rain outside. I told him that I'll be back. I went to my bedroom and saw a red hoodie on the floor that I stole from him. I went back downstairs and I could see him still standing by the door.

Thankfully Martin and Alissa aren't here because if they saw him here things will get crazy. 

"Here are some clothes," I said handing him the clothes. After he was done getting changed, I decided to wait upstairs in my room. I went back downstairs and I saw him sitting on the couch on his phone. He looked behind him and he saw me. He got up and walked up to me "Maya, can we talk." He towers me and I looked up at him. His eyes are so beautiful. I quickly snapped out of it and slowly turned around and walked away "is that no or?..." he asked me "okay let's talk" I said.

I sit down beside him. He takes a deep breath and starts to speak "okay, first of all, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have cheated on you and I shouldn't have said something when you told me you were pregnant. I'm in love with you." After he said that, tears were rolling down his face.

He's the only guy that loves me who I am and loves me what I am. He's the only guy that protected me. The other guys I've dated in the past were either toxic, abusive, players or even all of the above. Yeah, sometimes that sucks but someone could into your life and be there for you, and cherish you, love you for who you are and feel so happy with them.

I wiped the tears off his face while I caressed his hand gently "I forgive you" I said then wrapped my arms around him and he puts his arms on my waist. As we pulled away we lock eyes. I looked down at his lips then back up at him, he puts both hands on my cheek and slowly gets closer tilting his head and slowly getting closer to my lips. Our lips touch and I grab his neck pulling him even closer.

We continued kissing when I heard the front of the door open. Shit, if they see Vinnie they will flip out. "Get it the pantry," I told him whispering, he gets confused but he just rolls with it. He gets in the pantry with no question asked.

I went back to the living room like nothing ever happened "hey, guys what's up why are you home so early?" I asked sitting down on the couch "we for you some stuff, like baby clothes, some food, etc" Alissa explained

Anyways, the three of us were in the kitchen putting stuff when Martin tried to open the pantry door, I went in front of him and quickly closed the door "Maya, what the fuck are you doing?" He asked "uh-um-I-I don't know. I just don't open" I told him.

It's been two hours and I'm really worried about Vinnie, he still in the pantry and I'm sitting here talking to Alissa not even listening to what I'm saying I'm just too worried about him "Maya, are you even listening to me" she snapped her fingers right in front of my face can I instantly get out of my thoughts "hmm, sorry what were you saying" she frowns and crosses her arms " I said, what were you doing all day well we were gone?" Should I lie? or just tell her the truth? " I was just reading some books and watching some Netflix" I lied, great.

The thing about Alissa is she knows when I'm lying and it creeps me out. She looks at me dead in the eyes holding my arms tightly still her eyes are glued to my eyes "Alissa, look I lied I-" My phone started to ring,
And she could see the caller ID she picks it up "hello hi is this Vinnie Hacker" she runs to the kitchen and opens the pantry door "oh hey Alissa what's up?" Oh god, I am so dead "hey Vinnie how did you get there?" Who looks at me thinking I was going to say something, but I didn't " I came here because I want to say sorry to Maya after what happened yesterday and she forgives me and then one thing led to another and that's all" he explains everything "oh so you guys kissed and made up" she said "exactly!" He said.

Alissa wasn't mad, instead, she just hugged me "finally, you two are back together-" I cut her off " Who said we're back together, forgiving him doesn't mean that we're back together, he's got to work for it" I smirked at him and walked away. I could feel him thrashing my arm and turning me around facing him " why are you doing this?" He asked "just to see if you're loyal and trustworthy" I answered "well, challenge excepted," he said then shakes my hand.

Well, this is gonna be fun. Buckle up people this is gonna be a bumpy ride.
