CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Last night happened so fast, Vinnie cheated on me and now I might be pregnant with his baby. I'm really scared, mostly because if I'm pregnant I have to tell him and who knows how he'll react. I started panicking as I saw one negative and one positive. I walked up and down the bathroom repeatedly as I continued to panic and Alissa sitting on the ground speechless "so one of us is pregnant. I mean couldn't be me because I take birth control every single day" she explains "sometimes they don't work" I tell her still panicking "how about you, maybe you're pregnant you've been freaking out for the last hour" she tells me. Maybe I am pregnant, we haven't been using condoms and like I said birth control sometimes don't work, so I think I'm screwed.

We arrived at the doctor's office and we patiently waited in the waiting room. Our names get called and we both got up from our seats and followed her to her room, we sat on the chair waiting for her to speak. "So, girls both of your results came in and yes one of you is pregnant" she explains "mind we ask who it is?" Alissa asked her "Maya you're pregnant" the doctor stated. I can't believe this I'm pregnant, how I'm I going to tell him? My eyes widen really shocked at what she stated "I- oh my god" I had no other words to say. I'm pregnant with my ex-boyfriend's baby.

Alissa drove me back to the hype house and grabbed my hand caressing it "you okay?" She asked me looking at me worried. I was nervous to move inside, and I'm scared what they might say. I finally got out of her car and walked up to the door and I was about to open it when it flow open and standing there was Vinnie, looking right at me "Maya" he only said and then walked right passed me. I guess we're strangers now. I walked inside and no one was round, I sighed in relief and I was going upstairs to my room when I noticed Vinnie's room door open and a girl who seemed so familiar. She looks up at me and smile I rolled my eyes and went to my room. Stephanie, the girl from the family gathering, I notion she was courting my psycho ex-boyfriend but I guess they broke up. Then she goes around stealing other people's boyfriends, THAT BITCH.

I opened the door to my room, I noticed Vinnie on my bed I closed the door behind "why are you here?" I asked him getting angry "I came here to say I'm sorry" he stares at me begging for my forgiveness "your girlfriend is waiting for you in your room" I said ignoring what he said "Maya, please" he gets out of my mattress slowly walks up to me "Maya I love you and only you" I shook my head pretending I didn't hear that "just leave" I said opening the door he stood there looking at me not saying a word "I SAID GET OUT!" I yelled at him. He eyes were bloodshot red tears rolling down them, he leaves my room and I fall on the floor crying.

I was getting a little hungry so I went downstairs to the kitchen where I saw Stephanie and Vinnie making out. I sighed and walked to the pantry and grabbed a packet of chip that I brought earlier. I went to the living room and sat at the couch, as I become ingesting my chips Mia came up to me "so, are you going to tell everybody" "tell everyone what?" Stephanie said eavesdropping our conversation "can you please stay out of it Stephanie" I told her she just rolled her eyes and went back to where Vinnie was.

I finally decided to tell everybody the big news luckily everyone was in the living room, here we go. "Can I please get everyone's attention for a minute!" I shouted the room suddenly the room goes quiet as I finally got their attention "I have big news to tell you guys and it's not prank of any sort" I started. Everyone was staring at me waiting for me to talk again I cleared my throat "I-um- I'm pregnant" I finally said it there's no going back. The room was quiet no one saying a word I take a seat down back down next to Alex and Kouvr "Congrats" Alex said giving me a big warm hug "does he know?" Kouvr asked me I shock my head "no." I whispered. Turns out everyone was glad for me and I'm happy that I told them well, expect for one person.

It was eight at night and I decided to call it a night when I heard someone knocking on my door "come in" I said thinking I was Mia and Kouvr however I'm wrong it was the person I thought he'll finally leave me alone but I guess not "Vinnie I told you to leave me alone" I said really mad and annoyed "I overheard what you said to everyone, are you really pregnant?" he asked me. I suddenly couldn't breath he knows. "Yes, but the father of this baby cheated on me and now I'm pregnant so..." I explained his eyes widened in shock "oh my god I can't believe this" he said "me neither" I said "baby where are you?" I immediately know who that voice belongs to "you should go" I tell him he nods sadly "take care" he said "you too" after that he leaves my room.
