"The silence is slowly killing me"

Spencer reached over and grabbed the Tylenol bottle next to his bed, letting out a sad sigh upon discovering that it was empty. His head pounded as he shut his eyes, disturbed by the light sunrise peaking in through the windows. He felt dizzy and as though his head was about to explode at any moment.

Turning over in bed, he grabbed the pillow he was laying on and put it over his face, hoping to drown out any ounce of light or small tweet coming from the birds outside. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to ignore the horrific pain in his head but finding it extremely difficult. He longed for this pain to go away, and couldn't figure out why he was suffering from it.

A loud alarm went off on the nightstand, immediately causing his headache to worsen. He felt Bella shift, reaching over and quickly turning it off. He sighed in peace before a loud buzz came from both of their nightstands.

"Son of a bitch!" Spencer exclaimed, throwing the pillow off of his head to reach over and grab his phone. He didn't look at the text, instead turning off his phone and tossing it onto the floor before collapsing back in bed and closing his eyes.

Bella looked over and furrowed her eyebrows, "Spence? Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," he answered, rubbing his eyes and not wanting to get out of bed. "We should invest in some blackout curtains, it is so bright in here."

"It is? Spencer, the sun is barely up."

Spencer sighed and rolled over, "Since when has D.C. been so loud?"

Bella frowned in pure confusion. There was barely a sound outside, just an occasional honk of a car horn or tire squealing. She watched as Spencer covered his face with his hands, bothered by the small amount of light in the room.

"Do we have anymore Tylenol?" Spencer asked. "We're all out."

"I can check," Bella responded before placing her hand on Spencer's shoulder. "Do you have a headache?"

"Yeah, it's nothing to be worried about. I don't think I've been drinking enough water lately."

   Bella nodded, "That'll do it."

She threw the blanket off of herself and began to pull herself out of the warm bed. Before she could get up, she felt Spencer's hand grab hers. She turned around to see his familiar grin as he pulled her back into bed.

"Don't forget to kiss me," he said, planting a soft kiss on her lips.

"Silly me, how could I forget?" Bella smiled.

He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "What did that text say? I didn't read it."

"We got called in," Bella answered, running her fingers through Spencer's short hair. This had to be one of her favorite haircuts. "A couple weeks ago a plane crashed near Florida, the plane filled with countless business men from D.C. Apparently they crashed on a small island and were there for 2 weeks. 12 men were on that plane and only 2 were on that island, we're being called in to investigate it."
