Two days had passed and it was the day of the funeral. It was still pretty hard for everyone but they had to continue living as Taylor would've wanted that. Emily had spent these days at the Mikaelson Mansion with Madison. They were both getting ready for the funeral and while the girls were finished doing their hair, Rebekah walked in.

-

"Hey, are you girls ready?", she said.

"Yeah", Emily said.

"You both look amazing", Rebekah said.

"Do you think she likes how we look?", Madison asked.

"She does. Believe me", Rebekah said and there was a knock at the bedroom door.

"Come in", Madison said.

"It's time for us to go", Klaus said while he walked in.

"Ok, let's go girls", Rebekah said.

-

The girls nodded and then they all left for the church along with Elijah. When they got there, they went up to Carol and Tyler. Emily and Madison both gave Carol a hug, Madison then hugged Tyler and Emily didn't hug Tyler though. They eventually sat down and the officiant started talking. After the officiant said what was needed he let Madison go up to say the eulogy she had prepared.

-

"I uh, I talked to Mrs. Lockwood earlier today and she said she was uh nervous to speak so I uh offered to speak. The worst day of loving someone is the day you lose them. Taylor Anne Lockwood was one of my best friends. She was an amazing soul and she was loved by everyone", Madison started shaking a bit, "She was always there for everyone even if they didn't want her there. Taylor was that friend that you could count on for everything, you'd call her asking for help and she'd come straight away", while reading she started crying too, "We're all going to miss her so much. We're gonna miss her smile, her laugh and her- her- her, I'm sorry"

-

Jeremy went up to her and took her outside for a bit. He held her in his arms while she cried. The officiant went up again and said a few last words and then everyone left the church. Carol walked up to Madison and Jeremy and hugged Madison.

-

"I'm sorry I messed up the eulogy Mrs. Lockwood", Madison said while looking at Carol

"No, no Madison. Don't worry, that eulogy was beautiful, thank you", Carol said to her.

"She would've loved it Madi", Tyler said.

"Guys they're ready to go to the burial now. She's in the bier", Stefan said while going up to them and they nodded.

-

They all went to the cemetery for the burial. After Taylor was buried they all went to the Lockwood Mansion where Carol and Tyler were hosting a get together in memory of Taylor. While everyone was inside chatting Madison was at the lake in the garden and Emily was in Taylor's bedroom sitting on the bed. There was knock on Taylor's bedroom door.

-

"Go away please", Emily said but the person walked in anyways.

"Hello love", Klaus said while sitting next to her.

"Klaus.", she said while wiping her tears away, "Don't call me love. Why did you come here?"

"I went to the bathroom and heard crying coming from here. This was her room wasn't it?"

"Yeah, I don't know why it's so hard loosing Taylor. I'm 164 years old. I've made and lost so many friends but Taylor was different"

"I can't really relate to you, I'm more than 1000 years old and all I've only made enemies"

"Yeah well no one told you to become a psychotic killer who kills everyone who annoys you, a brother who daggers his siblings and leaves them in a coffin for years because they wanted to do something that you didn't agree with", while Emily said that Klaus smirked.

"You know what, I've grown fond of you little Salvatore"

"You know what, I haven't grown fond of you. Now if you will excuse me I'm going back downstairs", Emily said while getting up, leaving the room and going downstairs.

-

While Klaus and Emily were talking Jeremy had seen Madison sitting alone by the lake so he went to her and sat down next to her. He looked at her, he turned her head so she was facing him and he wiped her tears.

-

"Don't cry love, she wouldn't want to see you crying", Jeremy said while looking Madison in the eyes.

"I know, it's just hard not to. You'd think that someone more than 1000 years old would be used to this but Taylor was different. You all are. Loosing every single one of you is going to so hard", Madison said holding back tears.

"You're never going to loose me Mads"

"You're going to die eventually"

"I'll do anything to stay with you"

"Jer, why do you still wait for me? Every time we get we get close to being together someone gets in the way and me being an idiot chooses them and gets hurt again"

"I wait for you because I love you Madison"

"I'm sorry for making you wait, I love you too Jer, I think I've always loved you but I need sometime before I start to date someone"

"You're worth the wait blondie. Even if it takes forever, I'll wait for you"

-

They both slowly leaned in and then kissed passionately. They slowly pulled away and just looked at each other.

-

"When I'm ready you'll be the person I'll come to straight away, I promise", Madison said.

"I promise that I'll be waiting for you"

-

Jeremy got up, helped Madison up, then they both walked inside. About an hour and a half passed by and the guests went home. When Madison got home Freya and Kol were both there waiting for them to arrive. They both hugged Madison and apologized for not coming sooner. Of course Madison didn't care as they were there now. They watched movies for the rest of the night. When Emily got home she and her brothers watched movies for the rest of the night too.
