12. Taylor

Two weeks had passed since the funeral. Madison woke up, got ready for the day and went to the Salvatore Boarding House. She knocked on the door and waited for an answer. Soon after the door opened and Stefan standing in the doorway.

"Morning Madi"

"Hey Stef. Is Emily up yet?"

"I don't think she is but you can come in if you want. She'll be up in a bit anyways. We can talk and drink while you wait for her. You know, like the old days"

"Sure. I'm gonna need some of that good ass strong bourbon Damon has though"

"Deal", Stefan said while stepping aside so that Madison could walk in.

When Madison walked inside, she and Stefan headed for the living room. Madison sat on the couch while Stefan got the drinks. After a short bit, he came back with the drinks and handed Madison a cup of bourbon.

"I'll take the bottle too Mr. Salvatore", Madison said while drinking the cup of bourbon and finishing it straight away.

"Here you go Miss Mikaelson", Stefan handed her the bottle, "So how are you, well you know, taking Taylor's death"

"I'm fine. I'm more than 1000 years old Stefan I've been through this so many times"

"I've known you for over a Century and I can tell when you're lying so spill the truth"

"I miss her so much, she was not like any of my other friends. She was completely different. I don't know what made her different but something did"

"She was that person you never wanted to lose"

"Exactly. She helped me with everything Stefan. She was always there for me, always worried about me. She was like a sister to me"

"I felt the same way about Lexi, I remember seeing her being staked infront of me. It was the worst feeling, I lost my best friend, a member of my family"

"I miss Lexi too, she was pretty amazing if I may say so", Madison said smiling softly.

"Your smiling", Stefan said while smiling too, "That's the smile Taylor wants you to have"

"Yeah you're right Stefan, Taylor wouldn't want us to be sad forever. She'd want us to keep living", Emily said while walking into the living room, "Good morning"

"Good morning Em", Madison and Stefan said while Emily sat down next to them.

"You'll see her again someday but for now you both have to live for her", Stefan said.

"Yeah we do. Thanks for the talk and the drinks Stefan. Emily let's go, we have to live for Taylor", Madison said as she got up.

"Let's go", Emily said while getting up.

"Goodbye girls", Stefan said.

"Bye Stefan", the girls replied and then they left the house.

The girls got in Madison's car and drove to the Mystic Grill, which was Taylor's favourite place to go to. They both ordered an iced coffee and then went on a walk around town. A few hours passed by and Madison drove Emily home and then went home herself. When she got home she went to her room and laid on her bed just on her phone. While doing so there was a knock at her bedroom door.

"Come in", Madison said and as she sat up the person walked in.

"Guess who came to visit", Freya said while walking in.
