6. Homecoming

an: Hey so I'm warning you now that there will be a small time jump in this chapter. I will start the chapter with Elena and Jeremy fully reuniting and then with Emily and Taylor talking to Madison at the Mikaelson Mansion though. Something might happen after the time jump, just keep on reading.

After getting checked up Madison drove Jeremy home, left his car in his drive way and then she vamped home. When Jeremy arrived he entered the house quietly and closed the front door without making a noise. He walked silently into the living room and turned the light on. Elena was sitting on the couch waiting for him.

"Did you have fun?", Elena asked.

"Jesus Elena! What are you talking about?", Jeremy asked.

"Your little trip to Chicago", Elena replied.

"How do you know I went to Chicago?", Jeremy asked.

"Emily told Damon but they didn't know that Stefan was listening then he told me but Caroline was listening, then she told Tyler who already knew because Taylor told him and then Tyler told Matt who told Bonnie and she told no one", Elena said.

"So you know why we were there too?", Jeremy asked.

"She turned it off. You and her siblings went to Chicago to find her and get her to turn her humanity back on. Emily and Taylor are at her house right now talking to her", Elena said, "Wait why is your shirt all bloody?".

"Oh it's nothing, I just stabbed myself to get her to turn it on. You know, I nearly died but it was worth it", Jeremy said.

"Are you an idiot!? Are you ok!?", Elena said.

"Stop worrying I promise I'm fine", Jeremy said.

"Did that at least make her turn it on?", Elena asked.

"Yes, she took the knife out of me and gave me her blood. We just came from the hospital she made me go so the doctors could make sure I'm ok. Are you ok? You literally spent 4 months in that cellar", Jeremy said.

"Well I'm glad you're ok. I'm fine don't worry", Elena said, "It's late so I'm getting to bed. You should sleep too Jer, seems like you've had a long day".

"Yea sure, goodnight Elena", Jeremy said.

"Night Jer", Elena said.

They both walk up stairs to their rooms, Elena goes to sleep and Jeremy texts Madison. Meanwhile the Gilbert's talk, Emily and Taylor were at the Mikaelson Mansion waiting for Madison to return from leaving Jeremy at home. Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus had already gone to bed. Madison walked into her house and went to the kitchen to get a blood bag. She opened the fridge, took a blood bag, she then closed the door and when she turned Emily and Taylor were there.

"Hey stranger", Taylor said.

"Hey girls", Madison replied, "Why are you at my house at this time? It's literally 1:30 in the fucking morning", she said while drinking the blood bag.

"We've been here since school ended. We thought you would've been back by then but turns out you only came back now", Taylor said.

"Why did you turn it off!?", Emily said getting straight to the point.

"My boyfriend cheated on me with Elena, I mean Katherine. It wasn't the first time he broke my heart, for fucks sake Emily you know that! I literally went to meet you back in the 1920's after he broke my heart the first time. Taylor you also knew, I told you when we first met. You both know I had trouble trusting him sometimes. I'm sorry I did it. I nearly killed my best friend and then he nearly died getting me to turn it on, he stabbed himself in the chest to get me back. It worked but what if it didn't? Elena would've lost her brother, I would've lost my best friend. I'm sorry!", Madison said.

"Jesus Madison calm down", Emily said.

"She just asked why you did it Madi, you don't need to go full on rage mode or whatever", Taylor said.

"I'm sorry, I just need to rest. Can we talk tomorrow please girls?", Madison said.

"Sure we should get to sleep too, I'm pretty tired. Come Em let's go", Taylor said.

"Fine, goodnight Mikaelson", Emily said.

"Night Madi", Taylor said.

"Night girls", Madison said.

The girls left and Madison went up to her room. When she got to her room she got ready for bed, then laid in bed on her phone and sees she has a text from Jeremy.

#Jeremy: Hey blondie

#Madison: Hey Pocahontas

#Jeremy: Are you and the girls ok?

#Madison: Why wouldn't we be?

#Jeremy: Elena told me they went to talk to you. You guys didn't fight or anything?

#Madison: No, we didn't. Wait how is Elena? Is she ok?

#Jeremy: She's fine, don't worry.

#Madison: Good. Has your wound healed fully yet?

#Jeremy: Not fully but it's getting there.

#Madison: It should be fully healed by tomorrow then. I'm going to sleep now Jer, thanks for bringing me back. I really appreciate it.

#Jeremy: Anything for you Mads. Thanks for saving my life, I'm glad you did. Night <3

#Madison: Night <3

Madison smiled and put her phone on her nightstand, then she fell asleep. It's been a month now and everything was back to the way it was, well nearly everything. Madison and Stefan still aren't friends but they are friendly to each other. Madison hasn't figured out what happened with Stefan and in Chicago but she hasn't been worried about that at the moment. It was Saturday morning and Madison had nothing planned to do that day. She woke up at around 9, got ready and went to the kitchen to have breakfast but when she set foot in the kitchen she saw that someone unexpected was there to see Madison.

"Oh my god. Kol!?", Madison said running up to him and hugging him.

"Hey Mads", he said hugging her back.

"I missed you so much!", she said pulling away.

"I missed you too. From what Bexs has been telling me, you turned your humanity off"

"Yea, I did. I'm back to normal thanks to our dear siblings and Jeremy"

"I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier"

"It's fine Kol, you're here now"

"You know what?"

"What?"

"We should go out for drinks"

"Where?"

"Let's go to New Orleans. The people at Rousseau's miss their wildest customer, especially Camille", Kol said while he chuckled.

"Oh my god, yes! I can see everyone again!"

"You can also meet my girlfriend Davina Claire. She's a part of the harvest witches, well was"

"You finally got a girl? Wow congratulations big brother. I thought this day would never come"

"You're very funny Madison now let's get going"

"Sure! Your driving though!"

"Fine"

Madison left a note on the kitchen counter saying "Kol came over and now I'm going with him to New Orleans. I'll probably be back tomorrow. -Mads". Then she and Kol got in his car and drove to New Orleans.
