CHANGES

17. Awakening

Madison bit into Ryan's neck and started feeding on him and draining him of blood. He wasn't making a sound as she compelled him not to. She kept draining him of blood until someone shouted her name.

"Madison!", Emily shouted from behind her. She had followed Madison. Madison let Ryan's body fall to the floor and looked at her, "Mads stop".

"He killed the person I love. I lost my boyfriend because of him! The person who's always been there for me even if I didn't acknowledge him! I lost Jeremy", Madison said as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"You're not thinking of turning it off are you?", Emily said.

"No Emily, what's the point in that? It won't bring him back but killing Ryan will make me feel way better than I already feel", Madison said.

"Just stop! Jeremy wouldn't want you to do this. You know this", Emily said.

"You don't know what he would want", Madison said.

"Yes I do Mads. So do you".

"I can't bring him back Emily, he's human. I've lost him forever", Madison fell to Ryan's bed while crying and Emily sat next to her and hugged her.

"Everything will be fine but for now let's get Ryan to the hospital. He's lost too much blood", Emily said and Madison nodded.

They grabbed Ryan's body and vamped to the outside of the hospital and then brought him inside. They told the nurses that they found him like that in the woods and it was probably an animal attack as Emily had compelled his memory of the attack away he wouldn't remember what it truly was. When they returned to the Mikaelson Mansion, Madison had a shower to clean herself up and Emily sat on the couch as it was still only 6:30am so everyone was asleep except them. Or so she thought.

"Good morning love", Klaus said while walking to the couch.

"Jesus Klaus you scared me", Emily said a bit startled as she was distracted when he appeared.

"Why did you and my sister come home a few minutes ago?", Klaus asked as he sat down.

"Oh um- no reason, we went for a run", Emily replied.

"I know when you're lying love, what happened?", Klaus said while he placed his hand on her thigh.

"Well it has to do with Jeremy's death, she went after the person who killed him and-", Emily was interrupted by him.

"You've been resisting my moves for months but you'll eventually give in love", Klaus whispered really close to her ear and then looked at her.

Emily gave in and sat on his lap and kissed him. Klaus placed his hands on her waist. They made out for a while until they were interrupted by Taylor who was walking down the stairs. Emily immediately got off of Klaus' lap and sat next to him.

"You do know that Klaus' room is upstairs, right. All you have to do is climb the stairs", Taylor said as she walked to the couch.

"Little Lockwood", Klaus said a bit annoyed.

"Hello Klaus", Taylor said.

"What are you doing up? It's 6:45am", Emily asked.

"I could ask you the same thing but I've already seen what was going on. Where's Madison?", Taylor replied.

"Probably still in the shower", Klaus said.
