CHANGES

18. Transition

Everyone, except Elijah and Rebekah, was in the living room when Madison returned. They were pretty shocked to see Jeremy alive. Well as alive as he can be. Madison stood next to him and then they told everyone what had happened and how he has vampire blood in his system.

"So we mourned over Pocahontas for no reason? What a waste of tears", Damon joked and Taylor hit his arm, "Ouch!".

"Thank you for the very nice 'glad your alive Jeremy' message", Jeremy said.

"Your welcome", Damon smirked and Elena hugged Jeremy.

"I'm glad you're alive Jer", Elena said and she glanced over at Madison, "I promise to be a better sister from now on", Jeremy nodded.

"Did you complete the transition?", Matt asked.

"No, I was waiting to tell you guys first", Jeremy said.

"You're going through with it, man?", Tyler asked.

"Yes", Jeremy said.

"Are you sure this is your choice?", Elena glanced over at Madison again.

"Yes it's his choice. For your information I tried talking him out of it", Madison said annoyed by Elena's glances, "Since I've started dating your brother you've been a real bitch to me Elena. Just accept the fact that he's a big boy and can date who he wants, thank you".

"Calm down babe", Jeremy said.

"It's not my fault that my friend's being a bitch for me dating you. My best friend is dating my brother, do you see me being a bitch to her?", Madison replied.

"We're not dating", Klaus and Emily said in unison.

"Not officially at least", Taylor joked.

"I thought we were talking about Jeremy and his transition", Caroline said, trying to change the subject.

"Exactly", Bonnie added.

"We were. We are", Elena said.

"Do you want me to get you a blood bag?", Madison asked and Jeremy nodded. She vamped to the kitchen and back, "Here love".

Jeremy opened the blood bag and looked at everyone. They all had different expressions. Some looked sadder than others. He took a deep breath and took a sip of blood.

"Ok Jer that's enough", Madison said but Jeremy kept drinking. She took the bag from him, "I said that's enough Jeremy, you need to learn to control your hunger".

Jeremy wiped off the blood that was on his lips, "Yeah, sorry".

"How do you feel?", Elena asked.

"Weird", Jeremy replied.

"You'll get used to it eventually", Rebekah said as she walked in with Elijah.

"Hey Bexs, Elijah where were you two?", Madison asked.

"We were running some errands", Elijah replied, "We found something out"

"What?", Taylor asked.

"Someone's been killing supernaturals to get the cure for vampirism", Elijah said.

"How many supernaturals have died?", Stefan asked.

"12 vampires and 12 wolves", Rebekah replied and everyone looked shocked, "They still need to kill 12 witches."

"Wow...", everyone says.

"Do you know who's doing it?", Bonnie asked.

"We don't know but Davina is in danger. They come after her, she's lucky to have escaped", Elijah said.
