22. The Summer

After a while everyone went to their houses except the Mikaelsons and Jeremy. Madison and Jeremy went up to her room and sat on her bed talking.

"I can't believe Stefan's speech about you worked. Who knew he actually had feelings for you", Jeremy said.

"I know right...", Madison said.

"Baby are you ok?", Jeremy asked.

"Yes, I'm fine. Never do that again", Madison said.

"Do what?", Jeremy said.

"Follow me into a dangerous or life threatening situation. I'm the most powerful creature in the world Jeremy, I can handle anything", Madison said.

"You can handle anything until you die", Jeremy said.

"I won't die", Madison said.

"Then stop getting yourself into these situations", Jeremy said.

"Most of the time it's not my choice", Madison chuckled.

"I don't care", Jeremy smiled.

"Let's just watch a movie", Madison said.

Madison got changed into her pjs and Jeremy took his clothes off and got in bed. They put 'The Avengers' on and went to sleep. The next morning Madison woke up and went to the bathroom. When she returned she had a text from Tyler.

#Tyler: Hey Mads, can you come over? We need need to talk.

#Madison: Hey Ty, sure. What about?

#Tyler: About those summer nights two years ago.

#Madison: I'm omw.

Madison got changed and woke Jeremy up.

"Let me sleep", Jeremy said practically still asleep.

"I'm going out, I'll be back soon", Madison said.

"Yeah, yeah whatever, I'm going back to sleep", Jeremy said and Madison laughed softly.

Madison left her room, grabbed a blood bag, got in her car and drank it as she drove to the Lockwood mansion. When she arrived, she knocked at the door and Carol opened it.

"Good morning Madison, what can I do for you this early in the morning?", Carol asked.

"Good morning Mrs Lockwood, can I come in please? I need to-", Madison said as she was interrupted by Tyler.

"She's here for me", Tyler said.

"I'll leave you two to it then", Carol said and she left.

"Let's go to my room", Tyler said.

Madison nodded and walked inside. They walked up to Tyler's bedroom and Madison sat on his bed while Tyler stood by the door.

"Is your sister awake?", Madison asked.

"Yeah, why?", Tyler said and Madison spelled the room so that no one from the outside could hear.

"What is it you wanted to talk to me about?", Madison said.

"The summer nights two years ago in New Orleans. Remember?", Tyler said.
