14. Prison World

After the house and Madison disappeared she woke up in a place that looked exactly like Mystic Falls. When she turned around she noticed that she was infront of the Gilbert house, then she saw a newspaper and picked it up.

"May 10th 1994?", she read, "How can I be in 1994? Where am I?"

"Hello babe", someone said behind her and she turned around.

"Kai!? I sent you to the prison world your family created"

"This is the prison world"

"I'm in a prison world!? How did I get here!?"

"I don't know but I'm glad you're here, now I have company"

"If I am stuck in this prison world with you I am going to stay far away from you as possible"

"Aw, don't be like that"

"You tried to fucking kill me and you were the reason Taylor had to transition in the first place!"

"Come on, people make mistakes Madelaine"

"You also murdered your family, I know Kai"

"I'm a sociopath, I like being a sociopath"

"I'm going to find a way out of here, goodbye", Madison said as she walked away.

"Good luck, I've tried"

Madison rolled her eyes and kept walking, Kai followed her.

NEXT DAY IN THE NORMAL WORLD

Carol was happy to have Taylor back but was sad that Madison was gone. Everyone in town was confused as to how Taylor was there but they came up with a good excuse. As to Madison they said that she left town and moved. Jeremy had fallen asleep on Madison's bed the night before and the rest had gone home. Jeremy was woken up by Freya who had walked into Madison's room.

"Jeremy? Wake up", Freya said and Jeremy woke up.

"Freya?", he looked around and noticed he was in Madison's room and sat up, "I'm sorry, I came here last night when you guys were still in the basement and I guess I fell asleep here. I didn't mean to"

"It's fine Jeremy, you wanted to feel like she was still around didn't you?", Freya said and he nodded.

"I miss her", Jeremy said while getting out of Madison's bed.

"I miss her too, she was my little sister", Freya said, "She talked about you a lot"

"She did?"

"Yeah, she talked about how amazing you were and how you always waited for her even if she was with someone else. She also talked about how she loved you but the reason she couldn't date you was because of Kai's betrayal, she was scared of getting hurt by another boy she loved"

"I really loved her Freya, I was never going to hurt your sister"

"I believe you, from what I've seen you would've treated her well"

"Well I should get going, Elena's probably wondering where I am"

"Yeah she probably is, goodbye Jeremy"

"Bye Freya", Jeremy said and he went home.

Madison had gone to the Salvatore Boarding House to stay there as the Mikaelson Mansion wasn't built at that time. Madison walked to the kitchen to grab a blood bag and Kai appeared.
