Shoto was awake. In fact, he was wide awake.
There again in front of him was the same pair of white wings, the back of a person rummaging through the fridge and a sweet hum invading the gentle silence.

He was curious as he watched them, himself being fully dressed in school uniform and ready to go in early.

Why was there a stranger going through their food? Was it for his soba?

Shoto wouldn't stand for that.

He cleared his throat as a form of introduction and the figure stiffened, but didn't jolt as he expected.
"I knew you were there." The voice for the person was as sweet as the previous humming and he now had a face to match it with.

A brown toned female face looked at him with those fiery slender eyes as silver curls tumbled down her back. Her lips were thick and she had a button nose and sharp cheeks.
Despite his surprise at her face and seeing it for the first time, he still was curious about her quirk because, well, there were enormous wings on her back.
The only hero he had seen or heard of with wings was Hawks so his confusion was innocent.
"Oh I see." He said blankly. She observed him quietly as he began to turn around and leave.

"Morning Todoroki!" A beaming Izuku Midoriya smiled and waved at him. Todoroki gave a small nod and then continued reading his book.

Midoriya was a kind boy and was friendly towards him, however he still questioned that kindness as it could go too far at times.

In other words it was slightly annoying.

However he was happy to say he could call Midoriya someone he could count on, both as a friend and someone who would motivate him to go further.

Ignoring the pointless angry shouts of a usual furious Bakugo, he patiently waiting for Mr Aizawa to show up as he had put his books down and crossed his arms.

Finally, a yellow caterpillar crawled through the door and the class sat down.

"Morning." A tired tone filled the room. Aizawa slowly stood up in his sleeping bag and looked at everyone.

"Now I really don't have anything else to say except we have a new student." The entire class sat up straighter now, looking at each other in excitement and confusion.
Shoto cringed internally as he stared blankly at a drooling Mineta who was tracing a curving silhouette of a girl in the air.
