"Are you a little spoon or a big spoon?" She asked him as she tied up her hair.
"I'm human." He said.
She burst out laughing. "I know! I mean with cuddling!" She smiled.
"What." He looked at her in confusion. "Like holding the person you like?" She said encouragingly.
"I feel good when I hug you but cuddles are... I don't know what they are." He shrugged. "You hold someone while sleeping!" She flapped her wings in excitement.
"People feel good doing that?" He asked with interest.
"Yes! Remember that time I hugged you for too long and you were wondering why I hadn't let go yet?" He nodded.
"But my temperature increased and we both ended up sweating." He pointed out. "Gross but now you're aware!" She smiled.
"Ok." He furrowed his eyebrows in concentration as he got into bed. "Cuddle me." He said, lying down like a stiff plank. "Yes sir!" She got into bed and snuggled into his left side, appreciating the coolness of him. "What do I do now?" He asked.
"Hug me back." She yawned and then smiled as hesitant arms wrapped around her.
"Loosen up." She giggled.
After a while, his body relaxed as he fell into a deep sleep, his legs tangled with hers and his arms gripping her waist protectively.
The night went on as the two were sleeping soundly together, Shoto's head now snuggled against Azrael's chest as she wrapped her wings protectively around him.
A man watched from the window.
"How sweet." He muttered to himself as Shoto gripped her waist tightly and frowned.
"It's a shame to have to do this really." He tutted, but smirked. "The boss will be happy to see this. They're both in one place." He snapped a picture quickly then sunk into the earth.
