Jah POV:
Ayana and I have been shopping all day. Today was the release of my "?" album. We have been staying to ourselves really, Ayana and May were supposed to meet a couple of times but each time May's or Ayana's job came calling. I thought that maybe this would be the start for me and Ski to get back on speaking terms but it looked as if it would have to be me and Ski first. We did have a show tonight and at that show, I would be releasing this new album. I feel like it's been a while since I have performed and it's been a while since I performed with Ski. We had a performance and ATL and he was already there and so was May cause she was in a music video that Cole was directing as an extra or whatever.
"Baby, you coming to the ATL show?"
"You want me to?" she asked looking through the clothes rack.
"I mean yes, but we would be there the whole weekend and I know you be having shit to do"
"Nah I'll slide who all gonna be there"
"The two important people that we need to be there," I said, she looked at me and took a deep breath and she just looked. I smiled at her and kissed her forehead. "It will be alright, we need this to happen."
"You sure"
"Yes now go back to picking out clothes, I am going to the men's section"
"Alright, remember your budget"
"My budget?! I will go get some Walmart clothes right now" I said laughing
"Oh no not me, I only sleep in their t-shirts," she said slightly pushing me.
When I walked over to the men section in the store I heard some voices then I turned around to see some teenage boys just looking at me and talking.
"Y'all looking for something"
Boy #1: "I told you it was him!"
Boy #2: "Oh shit your XXX"
"In the flesh kid"
Boy #3: "You dope as hell man, you really changing this shit. Forreal."
Boy #1: "Is Ski with you?" he asked and then of em hit his shoulder. "Ouch!"
Boy #2: "Will you guys ever be friends again?"
"Well I sure hope so, I wasn't going to release more music until we were. Hopefully, that changes tonight at our show"
Boy #3: "Well before you leave can we get a picture?"
"Sure man," I said and we posted up and took the photo. Redd just watched from a distance and then when the photo was over she walked over. The boys said goodbye and went on about their day.
"Well, nice to see you understand your impact on the youth"
"I never thought I would have reached this point in my career. They asked about Ski, we were never a duo but damn, we dominated the fucking nation together"
"It's been a long time huh? We will all be back together as a whole by tonight no doubt"
"I hope so baby," I said grabbing her hand and we just continued to shop.
May POV
I just got out of a video shoot for Fenty Beauty. I loved the press I was getting, it wasn't overloading but people knew who I was. The more famous I got the more I missed the days in the poetry club. I had to go back one day. Stoke had a show later tonight and he was out doing some small shit for that because everyone else was still in Florida, Gabe came up early and they were setting up making sure everything was ready. Jah was dropping his album tonight so he decided he would play two of his new songs. The guys were supposed to meet up and discuss their issues but with everyone being busy it was hard. On the bright side, Stokeley and I were proud owners of house number two. It was a nice big house, spacious but not too far from society. So when I was dropped off at our new house I began to draw up where I wanted all the furniture to go. I loved the kitchen, we had a pool out back, we had multiple rooms for guests and there was a home studio in the basement alongside a stream room. Ski would tell me what type of rooms he wanted for his entertainment and I chose which room in the house would get it. I quickly went back out and began to shop for some things and I ordered the necessary furniture but I would slowly make this house into what we needed. As I was out shopping I got a call from Alexa.
