May POV:
So we have been back and forth for the past couple of months. Ski and I did put money together to buy a house in Pompano, so we moved our stuff out of that apartment. We aren't dating yet and I know everyone is going to be like "Y'all need to stop playing" trust me I am ready but he crushed his own and he's been depressed lately. I have been keeping an eye on him, he wanted me to go to Chicago with him to record the BabyWipe video. He looked sexy in that shower scene, I mean the whole video was goofy so I loved it. Cole Bennett and his team were amazing and he was genuine white people so I fuck with him.
Cole: "So you must be the famous May, or do you want me to address you as Dr. She?"
"May is fine, nice to meet you. I'm guessing he's been asking for me?"
Cole: "No but he did say he can feel you here. You didn't walk in with him though?"
"Oh nah I had to run an errand, I had to meet with G Herbo because I was asked to interview him for No Jumper"
Cole: "Dope, but hey um can you go check on Ski. I mean he keeps asking to take breaks, I don't know if he is nervous or anything but he definitely just needs a familiar face"
"Oh my- yeah um take me to him please," I said and we walked to a small room that Ski was in just sitting there sipping out the bottle. Cole just looked at me and I reassured him that I got it. I knocked on the door and Ski didn't turn around.
"Well for someone who wants me to be his girl you have quite the way of showing it"
"Oh shit, wassup baby," he said walking up and kissing me on the neck.
"Hey baby are you okay?" I said looking at him, he was clearly drunk and when he spoke you could smell the Henny on his breath.
"My chest has been getting the best of me"
"I told you to lay off of the ports babe, smoking and this constant drinking will not help you especially if you don't want to do that surgery"
"I know I know"
"Alright well give me the bottle and go finish those videos because we have to catch the first flight back. I have to cook for the New Years Party"
He took one more sip and handed me the bottle. I kissed him on the cheek and he left out of the room. I sat down worried because all he was doing was putting on weight and he never allowed me to go to the doctors with him. It was stressful, I looked in the mirror at myself and really questioned whether this life was for me. It was but if I lost him I wouldn't be able to bear that emotion. I was thinking back to Thanksgiving and how he stood up to my brother, it was crazy. My brother did try to swing on him later on and threw the biggest hissy fit at the house and we just looked at him like he was crazy and all he kept saying was that I chose Stokeley over him and when that wasn't the case. I love my family, Stokeley is one of the few people I have when I am not with my family. My brother was a person who felt that family should never grow apart and our family is just not that picture-perfect and he didn't understand that, he's crazy. By the time I was done going through thoughts of mine, Ski came busting through the door happy as fuck because they were done.
"Oh May, I invited Cole to New Years"
"STOKELEY!"
A few hours later
So I was in the kitchen cooking while Cole and Ski were playing games in the gamer room. There was a knock at the door and it was Bianka and Zel. I was happy to see the both of them and my nephew was getting really big.
"You about to pop girl"
Bebe: "Uh shut the fuck up"
Zel: "Where the guys?"
