How The Night Went...

Toni heard her mom calling her and she groaned. She ended the conversation and went downstairs to be met with two redheads. She slowly walked down the stairs and looked at Sweet Pea and Fangs. She looked back at the two, looking at the woman who oddly looked like Cheryl.

Fuck, that's her mom? Wait, but her mom is hot? What the fuck, Toni?! Okay. Just act normal. Wait, why are they here any- Toni's thoughts were cut off by the sound of a man's voice. She looked up and the redhead was talking to her.

"I believe you're Toni? We're... Cheryl's parents. Nice to meet you." Clifford said as he reached his hand out for Toni to shake. Toni reached her hand out as well and shook it. Toni looked at her mom and then back at the two.

"How do you know my mom? If you don't mind me asking." Toni said as she crossed her arms.

"We work together. She told me about what happened and believe it or not, Cheryl should know better right about now. We're sorry about what she did... and said." Penelope said as Toni nodded her head and smiled a bit.

"So that's why she texted me." Toni said as everyone looked at her. Toni just felt awkward and went into the living room. Melissa face palmed and they walked into the living room as well. When Clifford and Penelope sat down, Toni thought about Cheryl.

"Wait, so you guys came, without Cheryl, to apologize to me?" Toni asked as the two nodded. Toni smiled and nodded her head. Sweet Pea and Fangs just stood there, trying to hold a smile in.

"Well, I wish you would've brought Jason at least. We're best of buds." Toni said with a smile Melissa knew too well.

"Toni, we heard about the... speech you gave. Did Jason know about it?" Penelope asked as Toni looked at Fangs and then back at Penelope.

"Yes, he did, but don't yell at him. It's honestly Cheryl's fault. If she didn't have to guts to put fake snakes in my locker, the thoughts wouldn't have formed. Again." Toni said as Penelope rubbed the bridge of her nose. Clifford just shook his head, trying to hold in a smile. Toni noticed Clifford and put her hand over her mouth so that the smile could be hidden.

"You know what, she did deserve it. As said before, we're sorry for what she did and said. We're going to... talk to her." Penelope said as she got up.

"Don't yell at her. It's in the past. I may not forget it, but it's in the past, so it's fine." Toni said as Clifford looked at Penelope. Clifford looked at Toni with and amused looked and back at Penelope.

"Toni, can I talk to you?" Clifford asked as Toni's heart started to beat fast.

"Yeah. Sure." Toni said as her and Clifford walked out of the living room. Once they got far away from the group, they started to converse.

"Okay, so I already know you have feelings for my daughter and what you just did showed it. I will say this, Penelope and I aren't together, but when I'm over there, Cheryl brings a different type of energy. But I've noticed it's been happening for a while now. I don't know what you do to make her this way, but can you keep on doing it? Also, if you want to date my daughter, you have my blessing." Clifford said as Toni nodded.

"You said to keep doing what I'm doing, so that means to keep embarrassing her and standing up for myself." Toni said as Clifford nodded.
