It's now the next say, Saturday, and Toni and Cheryl are supposed to be going to Pop's. Toni found Pop's to be the place of all her problems, and somehow the solution to them. It's about 12:45 ish and they girls are supposed to meet up in about 45 minutes. Neither of them know what to wear, but they're definitely going to make something work.
"Fangs, Pea, come here, please." Toni called out, resulting in her two brothers coming into the room.
"What's the problem now? Red?" Pea asked as Toni rolled her eyes at him.
"Oh, my gosh. Just leave her be. Thank you for being supportive, though." Toni said as Pea pursed his lips and sat on his bed.
"Can you help me with an outfit?" Toni asked as Fangs looked at what she was wearing.
"Go in that." he said, causing Toni and Pea to look at each other and then at him.
"What? Absolutely not." Toni said as Fangs shrugged.
"I tried." he responded as he sat next to Pea.
"Why should I wear... this?" Toni asked as Fangs shrugged.
"I don't see why not. You look fine the way you are." Fangs said as Toni blushed a bit.
"Not you guys being soft." Pea said as Toni giggled.
"Just wear that. It's nothing wrong with it." Pea said as Toni looked into the mirror.
"I look weird." Toni said as Fangs sighed.
"No you don't, so please just shut up." Fangs said, not looking at anyone.
"Fangs, yes I do. You know what, I'm not going to go." Toni said as Fangs shook his head and chuckled to himself.
"Typical you. Something minor happens and you flake." Fangs said as he left the room. Toni gave him a weird looked and once he left, she looked at Pea.
"What he means is that you should stop doubting yourself and just be you. Embrace who you truly are. He's right, too. How do you think she's going to feel if you flake?" Pea said as Toni sighed.
"I just don't feel right." Toni said sitting down.
"I understand, trust me. There's going to be those days, but it's only temporary." Pea responded. Toni sighed and went to freshen up. Her final look defaulted in some black fitted sweat pants, a hoodie, with a pair of Alexander McQueen's.
Cheryl was going through the same thing, but with makeup. She decided she wanted to be comfortable herself, so she dressed in some joggers, a sweatshirt, and some red Doc Martin's to top it off. She was debating in if she should go barw face, or if she should out make up on. She was wracking her brain when there was a knock on the door. The door opened and Jason was coming in the door, kind of hesitant, not wanting to get caught into the "date" jitters Cheryl's progressed.
"Hey, Jason." Cheryl said, defeated.
"Hey. What's going on?" Jason asked as she sat down on the bed.
"I don't know if I should wear makeup or not." Cheryl said as Jason nodded.
"Well, if you ask me, I say, you should go without it. And wear maybe a gloss? Something chill to match your outfit." Jason recommended as Cheryl looked at herself in her vanity mirror. She decided to not wear any makeup, do something different for once.
