CHAPTER TWELVE

Nagising ako dahil sa sinag ng araw na tumatama sa mukha ko, I moaned before stretching my hands. Tumingin ako sa side table at natigilan nang my makitang isang color paper doon na may nakasulat at sa tabi niyon ay may three pieces na tamarind candy.

Hindi ako nagsayang ng oras at agad kinuha ang mga iyon. Kusa namang pumatak ang luha ko habang nakangiti at binabasa ang sulat na iyon.

Dear mom,

         I'm sorry po mom for what I told you, daddy handsome Adrian is right... I should not have blamed you because you have been a good mother for me. Please accept these three candies po, para I love you po, muwah muwah muwah!

I laughed before wiping my tears and caress the paper and candies. Nag-effort pa. Ang sweet naman ng anak ko. Siyempre, kasama iyong nagsulat ng note na ito, I knew it's Adrian because why not? Hindi kasi alam ni Yanna mag-spelling eh, only she can right the alphabetical letters but she still doesn't know how to spell. I'm still trying to teach her.

Kaagad akong tumayo at pumunta sa banyo para magsipilyo bago lumabas sa kuwarto ko, wala sila sa loob kaya bumaba ako at natanaw ko sila malapit sa baybayin, gumagawa ng castle, kusa naman akong napangiti sa nakikita, halatang-halata na ini-enjoy nila ang bono nilang mag-ama.

Dahan-dahan akong lumapit sakanila, hindi parin nila ako napapansin dahil nakatalikod sila sa akin habang nagsasalita si Adrian, nakikinig naman sakanya si Yanna.

"When I was at your age, I love playing basketball with my friends, I get home safe but I was full of sweats back then. My mom, your lola used to be furious because I was full of sweats and because I didn't get an extra t-shirt. My mom is over protective to me, moms are like that including of course your mom."

"Opo. I'm excited to meet my lola." She said hopefully.

Adrian brushes the hair of his daughter before kissing the top of her head. "You'll meet your lola soon so don't worry. She'll like you, I assure you that, hmm?" Tumango nalang si Yanna.

"Morning..."

They both turned their face on me with their shocked face but Yanna quickly avoided her face on me then she helpfully stared at his father as if she's uneasy and shy of something.

"Good morning, pretty hot mommy." He said while getting rid of the sands from his short. I glared at him but he just laugh, tinulungan niyang tumayo si Yanna at ngayon ay tuluyan kaming magkaharap. "Our daughter wanted to say something to you..." That's when Yanna looked at me like if she's going to cry for any moment. I clutched my chest while looking at her eyes, I do not want to see her hurting.

"Yanna..."

"M-Mommy?"

"Hmm?" I kneeled infront of her to peveled with her face, hinaplos ko ang pisngi niya nang tuluyang tumulo ang luha niya.

"H-Hindi ka po galit sa'kin?"

I shook my head then smiled at her lovingly. "You know how much I love you, darling. I am not angry at you. Not even once, darling."
