CHAPTER NINETEEN

4 Years Later,

You can push your pain all the way down in your soul and pretend it does not exist but somehow someway one day it is going to the surface and demand that you face it.

I looked up at the clear blue sky, and a small smile formed in my lips. I raised one of my hand trying to reach the sky.

It was such an amazing day, the Romualdez-Vergara family used to be happy but in such a little time. I know it's hard to move on, I just can't forget all of them, they were part of my life and will ever be. I wanted to be with them, as soon as possible and with that, I lifted the knife that I'm holding and smirked.

I'm trying to leave this world... But everytime I tried to, I was being stopped by my family and friends, but now that I am alone...

I looked back when I heard a horn sound from a car. 

"Put that knife down,Yen!"

I laughed out of nowhere, speaking of him, I saw from my peripheral vision that he is running towards me, I know what he's going to do so I stood bravely and pointed the sharp knife on my neck. No one's gonna stop me now.

"Huwag kang lalapit!" Sigaw ko at mas itinutok ang kutsilyo sa akin.

"Yen ko, please!" I eyed Adrian, tears started to flow from my eyes and it's getting blurry.

"Adrian... Hayaan mo na'ko."

"Halika sa akin, uwi tayo." He raised his hands and was about to hold me when I stepped aback. "Yen."

Umiling ako nang paulit-ulit. "Hindi, hindi ako papayag na—" I screamed and shock when Adrian held my hand strongly but I wasn't hurt, and that I didn't expect him to do that.

Hinagis niya ang kutsilyo at binalingan ako, ang dilim ng tingin niya sa akin. "Bakit?!" I flinched when he held my shoulders tightly. "Ha!? Yen, bakit?"

I sniffed. "Ayoko na mabuhay! Aalis ako, sasama ako sakanila gusto kong sumama, Adrian please! Pabayaan mo na'ko oh!"

His jaw clenched. "P-Pabayaan? Naririnig mo ba ang sinasabi mo?"

"Oo! Gusto ko silang makasama."

"Yen, please do not say that, hmm?" His voice soften as well as his eyes. "Let's go home, hinahanap ka ni Yanna."

Akmang hihilahin niya ako pero tumanggi ako.Tinulak ko siya palayo sa akin. "Ayoko."

"Please don't be stubborn..."

"Sabing ayoko!" Hindi ko napigilan ang sarili kong humikbi ng malakas. "Hindi mo alam kung gaano kasakit sa akin mawalan ng mga anak! Hindi mo alam kung gaano kasakit makita na unti-unting humihina ang tatay ko tapos biglang nawalan ng buhay! Hannah died two years ago and it's her death anniversary today, my dad died week ago, and I got miscarriage without me even knowing, Adrian!" I pointed my chest. "Ang sakit..." Natigilan ako. I just realized what I said.
