Spencer had left the room in a huff, choosing to watch the encounter from behind the glass.

"Working deductively, the secret wouldn't be any of the topics you've already volunteered, because you wouldn't want to make it that easy on me."

Cat continued to twirl the Tiffany watch carelessly. "Genius, truly."

"So what is left that I wouldn't want to admit?" Liz squinted, scanning her face before concluding. "Love. Is that what this is all about, love? For my husband? My kids? No. For you. You want me to admit that I am actually in love with you."

"Don't get me wrong, I love my fairy tales, clearly, as much as the next girl, but I'm not delusional."

Liz suppressed a smile. "Are you sure about that?"

"Very sure. So sure, in fact, that I had Lindsey leave a clue for you in your little scrapbook in your house. I couldn't have you come all the way down here and make a guess until I was positive. That is," Cat rubbed her stomach. "until I tested positive."

She narrowed her eyes at the subtle gesture. "You're pregnant? What's that got to do with me?"

"Your husband and I are pregnant."

The agent shook her head, lip quivering. "No. He wouldn't."

"Oh, yes. Mazel tov." She grinned. Not able to control herself any longer, the harsh scrape eliciting from the chair sliding across the floor, Liz exited the room with a slam of the door. She ignored Spencer, requesting a nearby guard for Cat's test results as he entered the room.

She was pregnant. Shocked, she continued to watch the events unfold in the small interrogation room through the two way glass. "It's not possible. Even if you are pregnant, the baby's not mine."

"Except for the part where it is."

"That's completely preposterous. You've been in prison."

"So have you."

"And we've never-"

"I know." Liz almost sighed in relief at the confirmation. "Ask me how I did it. Come on, ask me."

Spencer rolled his eyes. "How did you do it?"

"I had Lindsey dose you in Mexico. You lost time. And I gave her very specific instructions to get you in the mood."

"What, did she pretend to be you?"

"Why, would that have worked?"

He leaned forward in his chair. "No."

"Yeah, I know. Believe me, I know exactly where I stand on the Spencer Reid hot or not list. I told her to pretend to be your wife. The love of your life. Betty really is a useful player."

The doctor shook his head in disbelief. "You're lying."

Cat smirked, doing her almost spot on impression. "Penny, it's me. It's okay. Penny, Penny, Penny. It's okay, come here. You want this."

"It didn't happen. I would know if it was her."

"Hey, I was thinking, if it's a boy, we should definitely call him Spencie Jr. Or maybe Lyle. If it's a girl, we should call her Betty. After all, she played such a huge role in her own conception." She called out as Spencer stood abruptly, storming out of the room and planting himself next to Liz.

Handing him a manila folder, she spoke. "Timeline matches. She's 3 months."

He threw the papers at the two way mirror, making her jump. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
