Liz and Rossi sauntered into Morgan's office, arms looped as their previous laughter due to a joke died down when they saw Morgan's distress. "You okay?"

Morgan put down his phone. "Yeah, I'm okay."

"No, you're not."

He released a dejected sigh. "It's Savannah. She wants to meet for dinner tonight because we need to talk. Beth, did she mention anything to you?" Liz shook her head, grimacing with her father. "Trust me, I've gotten this text enough times in the past to know this ain't good."

"Hey, all I know is that Savannah is a wonderful woman and you two love each other. You're gonna be fine." Rossi reassured, guiding Liz back to the door.

"You sure?"

"No, you're probably completely screwed but good luck getting it right."

Penelope joined the party. "Good luck with what?"

The brunette grinned. "Savannah says they need to talk."

"Uh, oh." The techie laughed.

Morgan groaned. "You know what? All of you, thank you, you're so helpful."

"Okay, here's me being helpful. The good news is that your 'we need to talk' talk with your fabulous lady love is going to have to wait but-"

"Let me guess, bad news is we have a case."

"Yeah, it's pretty bad."

Once their three day case was over, Morgan's issue had seemed to be resolved on the jet ride home.

That was until he went missing.

The team had worked tirelessly to get him back, which is how Liz found herself, dozing off against Savannah's shoulder in a hospital chair just as his eyes fluttered open.

She smiled, eyes barely open. "Hey, Derry." She rasped, resting her hand on top of his.

"Hey, Beth."

"I'm so glad you're back. I'm going to leave you guys to it." She sent him a kiss, leaving the room only to crash into Spencer's arms.

They returned to an empty home, opting to sit in the backyard rather than the kitchen. For once, Spencer didn't complain about the wet grass touching his trousers, he just sat with his wife, peacefully. "In the 11 years we've been together, I don't think I've ever doubted the decision I made to be with you for one second." Liz blurted, head in his lap.

"Really?"

She hummed. "I was thinking, it was difficult having four kids in a hotel room when we went to visit your mom. What if we used our savings and bought a house in Vegas?"

Spencer furrowed his eyebrows. "What's brought this up?"

"I love your mom so much, and I think we need to be closer to her. Whether it's buying a house there a visiting her, or her coming to live with us. I don't want to regret not doing something for  a single second. It was different when was of us was in the life threatening situation, but after seeing Morgan and Savannah, all of that at stake, I just-"

He nodded. "I get it."

"I love you, you know that?"

"I love you, more. In fact, I'm hopelessly devoted to you."

The brunette giggled, hoisting herself up and pulling him up behind her, running upstairs through the house with him in tow. She rummaged at the end of their closet, pulling out two articles of clothing that hadn't been worn in 7 years. "What are these for?" He hesitantly took the tux from her hands.
