The once abandoned office was now cleaned out and nicely furnished.

In the room sat a desk littered with piles of files and papers. Behind the desk and its chair was a massive bookshelf containing, well, books and some spaces held file boxes instead. On the desk also stood a picture frame. The picture captured the two smiling faces of Liz and Spencer in the office. They were in their usual embrace, Liz's arms around the doctor's neck, and his arms around her waist. They stared into each other's eyes in a cheesy manner, but their gazes held absolute adoration and love. One of the best parts about the picture was you could see Hotch in the background smiling, Morgan with his eyebrows raised and lips puckered, JJ grinning and Garcia squealing.

The office wasn't as big as Hotch's, but it was the tiniest bit bigger than JJ's, but Liz was in love with it.

The couple stood in the kitchen, Spencer watching the woman in front of him cook as she multitasked between three different pots. Liz turned away from the pots, pulling Spencer in for a kiss. And then another kiss, and another, and another until they were fully making out in the kitchen, making sure to turn the stove off first.

Spencer's lips traveled down Liz's neck, peppering the skin in sloppy kisses as the familiar ringtone of Liz's phone erupted, however the couple continued their activity without a care in the world. It rung twice, three times, four times before Spencer mumbled against Liz's neck. "You should answer that." It rang again.

"I don't have to." Liz's voice was airy and breathy as she dug her fingers further into Spencer's hair. "Ellie." Spencer continued kissing her neck as Liz rolled her eyes, muttering a very low and irritated. 'fine'

"Elizabeth Bundy, here. This better be important because I'm in the middle of something." Spencer lips never left her skin as Liz's voice continued to be light and out of breath.

"It's urgent. Morgan's been arrested." Hotch's voice echoed in her mind.

"What? Morgan's in Chicago." Spencer pulled away, his face displaying confusion as Liz snapped out of her daze, her eyes locked on Spencer's. "He was arrested while visiting his mother."

"What the hell for?"

"Homicide."

"Holy shit, we're on our way."

Liz was fuming when they arrived at the police department in Chicago. She knew the stories Morgan told her about a specific officer who was out for him, and she wasn't going to take any bullshit.

She walked ahead of the team, authority present in her figure and anger visible in her face. Some would think that she was unit chief and not Hotch by the way she was behaving. She slammed her hands down on a desk, startling the man behind it. "Special Agent Elizabeth Bundy, FBI. I'm looking for detective Gordinski." Her voice leaked with a subtle venom as her eyes bored into the man before her. Spencer placed a hand on the small of her back, hoping to provide some comfort as Hotch stood behind her, praying she wouldn't lash out.

"I got this, Chuck." A bald man caught the teams' attention. "How are you guys doing? Wally Dennison, CPD." He introduced, a small smile on his face as his eyes remained locked on Liz's. Oh, how she wished she could slap that smile off his face.

"Where's agent Morgan?" Hotch spoke up, not bothering to step in front of Liz.

"Detective Gordinski's in with the suspect now."

"I need to see him." Liz stated, crossing her arms over her chest as sign of persistence.

"When my partner's finished talking to him." Dennison stated, the smug smile still on his face. "We have your superintendent's personal cell number, and in the interest of not running roughshod over another police agency, I've resisted calling him so far." Liz could see Dennison briefly take a deep breath as she spoke. "I need to see agent Morgan. Now."
