Season 9 x 21

Calliope lay in the bed, still sore from Sioux Falls, the brothers had left her behind, as they went to check something out in Chicago.  She hated that she was left behind, but Dean didn't want to risk her getting hurt worse than she was. She slowly gets up from the bed groaning in pain as she tries to stand up from the bed. She slowly makes her way over to the dresser that she had kept some of her clothes in.  As she digs around in the dresser, she spots something buried deep inside the drawer. She finds a box and she starts to panic thinking that what might be inside. Slowly opening the box she sighs as it wasn't what she expected. Just then her cell starts to ring, and she limps her way over as it continues ringing, and she smiles seeing who was calling.

"He...Hey" she stammers.
"Are you okay?" Dean asks her.
"Yes, Dean sorry, I uh I just got out of bed and was in the dresser getting some clothes when I found something" she tells him.
"Oh..uh, yeah sorry about that" he says to her.

"It's all good, Dean. Honestly I thought it was something else at first" she says as she goes and sits down on the bed.
"What exactly did you think it was?" Dean asks her.
"Something that we are no where near ready for" she says earning a laugh from Dean.
"Yeah, yeah definitely not ready. Now that you found that what are thinking about doing with it?" he asks her.
"Not sure, I mean I take it, I become full on Nephelium which could bring me insight on what's happening with the angels, but then who knows what could change inside me." She explains to him.

"You know I will understand whatever you decide" Dean tells her.
"I know, I know, umm what's going on in Chicago?" she then asks him.
"Nothing too exciting, same old same old, hoping to wrap this up shortly and I can come back to you" he says and she smiles.
"I miss you too, Dean, stay safe okay" she says to him.
"I always am" he says as he then hangs up the phone.

Calliope holds her grace in her hands, unsure what to really do about it, she looks at her phone and she dials Castiel, hoping he would give her some help.  "I don't understand...w-why do you want me to say my name" she hears the voicemail kick in and she laughs at the voicemail. "Hey, Cass it's Calliope I umm, I found something that Dean has been keeping for me and I really need to know what is going to happen if I take it. Umm so, I umm, I need your input cause I'm at a loss, anyway just call me okay please, just at least let us know you're okay" she then ends the call.  Calliope puts the grace down on the bed, as she then goes back to the dresser getting clothes to get changed. She slowly gets dressed and decides to go look into some books in the bunker hoping they might help her with her decision. Calliope spends hours looking through books, looking into everything about Nephilim and, angel grace. After reading as much as she could for now, Calliope came to a decision on what to do about her grace.

A few days later Calliope hears the bunker doors open and looking up from the table she sees Sam and Dean come into the bunker looking exhausted.  "Hey" she smiles at the boys, as she gets up and walks over to Dean, as he comes down the stairs.
"You healed up?" Dean asks her seeing that she didn't have bruises anymore and the leg brace was gone.
"Umm.... well, I uh made a decision" she tells him.
"Are you now? Angelic?" he asks her.

"No, I am mostly what I was when I first met you, I only took a quarter of the grace. So right now," she looks over at book on the table and makes it go flying across the room. "I know that it won't last long, but I figured with us going up against a Knight of Hell, I should be juiced up" she smiles at them.
"You sure you okay with this?" Sam asks her.

"Sammy, if I wasn't, I wouldn't have done it. Oh, and uh I was actually about to call you guys, Cass text me, never replied to my call, just a text with a location. He wanted us to meet him somewhere, so I already have new duffle bags packed for us, and I am ready to get going" Calliope says patting Dean on the shoulder as she heads off.
