13- Become One

Calliope sat on the bed, playing around with the ring on her finger, sighing as she looked at it. She knew that even though Dean asked her to marry him, it was never really going to happen. At least not for a very long time, and something else was on her mind ever since they had helped Sully. A child was something she had wanted for a long time, and then becoming what she was, it wasn't going to happen. As she sat there she could once again hear Sam and Dean arguing about Sam wanting to go to the Cage and see Lucifer. She gets up from the room, and heads to the library of the bunker, "Because it's crazy, okay? And it's not gonna happen. How many times do I have to say that this is a horrible idea?" Dean shouts at Sam.

"About as many times as I have to say, 'okay, then what else we got?'" Sam shouts back, "Listen, I'm all ears. Dean, ordinarily, I'd agree with you but the visions only happen when I reach out to God. I asked him for a way to beat out the Darkness and the visions got more specific. And I was in the Cage" Sam says to Dean.

"Yeah, with Lucifer. The biggest monster ever hatched. Fan-friggin-tastic" Dean replies.
"You know what? Lucifer was the biggest monster ever hatched until you and I hatched one that's even worse. Listen, in the vision, Lucifer touches me. And I feel calm. Like things will be all right. And that's not something I would ever come up with. I mean that is the last thing I would ever think" Sam says.

"Yeah, if Lucifer touched you it would be the last thing you'd think. Ever" Dean says to Sam as Calliope comes into the room, and he sees her.
"Arguing again boys" she says and they don't say anything, as Dean gest up and goes to pour himself a drink.

"Why would God even ask this of you? And you know what? What proof do we have that any of this is actually real?" Dean then asks his brother.
"There was a burning bush" Sam says this and Calliope looks at him in surprise, as she sits down.
"You mean an actual burning bush like the story of Moses" Calliope asks him, and he nods.

"You were in a forest. There are bushes there.  And sometimes they burn!" Dean shouts as he comes and sits beside Calliope.  "You know what, man? Maybe there is something to it all. Maybe. And maybe there's not." Dean says to him.
"Dean, doesn't it make sense? I mean, Lucifer would know how God ended the Darkness, he was there" he says to him.

"Dean, I am with Sam on this one, its just something we need to consider" Calliope then says to him, and he looks at her in surprise.
"Since when are you on Sam's side of this" he says to her.
"Dean, we don't know much about The Darkness, and if God is sending these images to Sam, it's at least something to look into" she says to him.
"Really?" he says to her.
"Yes, really, and you know who we need to talk to now don't you" she says to me, and he rolls his eyes at her.

Dean, Calliope and Sam stand before Crowley, "So God assured you of this, did He?" Crowley asks Sam after Sam told him about the visions. "I'd say you were making this up, I mean, I never think of you as imaginative" he adds.
"We're not saying it's gonna happen, we just want to know-" "Theoretically" Sam says for Dean.

"If it's possible" Dean finishes.
"The Cage is a can of worms you do not want to open. I believe this conversation is over" Crowley says.
"Is it?" Dean says as Crowley is about to snap his fingers and disappear. "Crowley, you know that the Darkness is gonna pound on everything and that includes you" Dean says to him.

"You had your shot with taking her out when she was with you, but well it's you and you thought sucking up to her was the way to go. And well as Dean and I saw first hand, that didn't work out so well, now did it" Calliope says to him.
"Because she chose your boy. And he couldn't control his other girlfriend" Crowley says to her, and Calliope looks at him pissed. "What happened in that room? Why did she insist on sparing you? And your angelic girlfriend?" he asks looking at Dean, "What is she to you?" he then asks as Sam looks at Dean and Calliope surprised by this information.
