Season 9 x 9

The three hunters were driving through the night as Ezekiel lets Dean and Calliope know about Sam's condition, "So, he's better" Dean asks.
"Yes, Sam is much improved. It shouldn't be much longer now" Ezekiel tells him.
"Okay, you know, you said the same thing to us last week, right?" Dean says to him.

"As I told you when we met, this will take time" Ezekiel says.
Dean scoffs, "Okay, well, go then heal. I'd like my brother back, please" Dean says to him.
"I must say, Dean, I'm very uncomfortable with this whole trip. Investigating crimes involving angels or anything involving angels puts me, and therefore Sam, at risk." Ezekiel says.

"Well, family business Zeke. If we ignore this, Sam's gonna think that something fishy's going on" Dean explains
"Then I trust you will be discreet." Ezekiel says.
"Wait, if you know where we're going that means you've been listening in. Are you...? Are you hearing everything between me, Calliope and Sam?" Dean then asks.

"No, just a word here and there. I have better things to do with my time than eavesdrop, like heal your brother" Ezekiel says.
"Okay, cause here's the thing..." Dean starts to say.
"I mean I was gonna say, it seems like it's getting really quiet out there, you know?" they hear Sam now saying as Ezekiel gave him possession back.  "Not a peep from the angels, even Buddy Boyle goes off the air and stops recruiting for them" he goes on to say.
"Calm before the storm I guess" Calliope comments.
"Yeah, I guess" Sam says as he then sees a sign that they pass, and he takes a second look.

"What?" Dean asks him.
"That sign said Fort Collins, 50 miles" Sam remarks.
"So?" Dean asks.
"So, last time I looked, like 12 seconds ago, uh Fort Collins was 100 miles" Sam says to them.
"Well, hey, ever since that goddess got her hooks into you..." Dean tries to explain.
"No, it's more than Vesta. I mean, this kind of thing's been happening to me. Like, like, there are chunks of time just missing. Like, there are times when I'm not here." Sam says.

"Well, like Dean said" Calliope starts to say.
"Yes, the trial, I know, I heard the two of you. I heard you two when you said it the last week and the week before that and the week before that." Sam says a little irritated.
"Yeah, because damn straight the trials. They whacked you, man. You're not up to warp speed, yet, okay? But you will be, would I lie" Dean says to his brother and Sam just looks at him.

Dean pulls the Impala up to the crime scene, and the three of them step out of the car, walking up the steps to the bar, they show their badges to an officer. "Ah, one of your guys is here already" he says to them. The three of them share a quick look with one another before heading inside the bar, were they look around for the other agent that was there.
"Ah, my colleagues" they then hear Cass's voice, and walk over to him.

"Agent?" Sam says to him.
"Agent" Cass smiles proud of himself.
"Cass, what the hell are you doing?" Dean asks him.
"Umm..." he says leaning toward Dean, "I still have that badge you gave me" he explains to Dean.
"Yeah, uh, what the hell are you doing?" Dean asks him again.
