25- Deano

Staying back, they see that Cole had pulled up to an old cabin, and they park. Quietly the three of them get out of the car, and going to the trunk they get their weapons out and make their way toward the cabin. Dean indicates for Sam to go one way while him and Calliope go around the other. They make their way up to the cabin, and as they enter Sam sees Kit attacking Cole.

He goes after him pulling Kit off Cole, and they see a worm like thing come out of Kit's mouth. Calliope tries to use her blade to kill it but she can't, and Dean ends up stepping on it. Kit tosses Sam across the room, and the goes to attack Dean, "Wait, wait, wait" he says to Kit, as he tries to stop the man but he shoves Dean down, and does the same to Calliope when she tries to stop him and he takes off out the door to the cabin.

Dean gets up and takes off after Kit, while Sam and Calliope go to Cole, to make sure he was okay, as he continues to cough and gag. Cole sits up on the bed, as Calliope and Sam look out the window trying to see for Dean or Kit. "Oh, God. Something went down my throat" Cole coughs out.

Calliope looks at Sam, as he looks at Cole, "All right, Cole just try and stay calm" Sam tells him.
"Oh, God" Cole says as he stands up," Something just moved"
"Cole?" Sam says.

"It's alive Sammy" Cole tells him.
"Well, we're gonna get it out of you" Sam tells him.
"How?" He asks.
"We'll figure it out" Sam tells him as Cole continues to gag as he goes to sit down.

Dean then comes back into the cabin, "Hey, that was a dumbass move coming in here alone. You know that, right?" Dean says to Cole.
"Sorry, should've let the machete brothers and Kill Bill cut my buddy's head off." Cole groans out.

"Well, if you did, maybe you wouldn't be chocking down a damn Khan Worm" Dean says to him.
"What's a Khan Worm?" Cole asks.
"You think that's what this is?" Sam asks him.
"Or some sort of freak cousin" Dean says.
"Freak cousin of what?" Cole groans.

"Ah, couple years ago, Dean and I worked a case. We got stuck in a cannery with this worm. It'd get into people's bodies" Sam explains.
"It was freaking awful" Dean complains.
"All right, so you been to this rodeo before. How do we kill it?" Cole asks.

Dean and Sam share a look with one another, "Worst case, headshot the person it's in" Dean tells Cole. "Worm crawls out, we stomp it like a bug" he goes on to say.
"Is there a version where you don't cap me?" Cole asks.

"Yeah, uh, last time, electrocution made the worm leave the body" Sam explains.
"All right, fine. Electrocution it is. I'm game" Cole tells them.
"All right, you three get to work, I'll go look for Kit." Sam says as he starts to leave.
"Hey, hey, Sammy" Cole calls out.

"Yeah?" Sam asks.
"If we can fix me, we can save Kit, right?" Cole asks.
"That's the idea" Sam says as he then leaves the cabin.
"You know that this is gonna hurt like a son of a bitch" Dean says to him.

"Hell, I have a wife, a kid, and an upside-down mortgage to get back to. Whatever it takes, Deano." Cole tells him.
"Okay" Dean says and they get to work.

Managing to find some car batteries, Cole places one down as Dean gets the jump cables, "So, last time you two saw this thing it turned people into killers too?" Cole asks them.
"Yeah, except that one did a mind control number on us" Dean tells him.

"Ah, damn" Cole remarks.
"Thank God I was dead then" Calliope quietly says looking at Dean.
"Yeah, you were lucky" he says back at her.

"Day in and day out, you two and Sammy saving people from things they just can't wrap their minds around. Hell, and nobody even notices it." Cole says as he sits down in the chair. "Hell, at least I got a medal for my efforts. But you? Heh. I tried to kill your ass" Cole says to Dean.
