*** Joyce (CJ)'s POV ***

"CJ, are you there, love?" I heard Quinn ask.

I gulped hard and my voice came out breathy. "I am, Quinn. Hi."

"Hi darling." Quinn replied in a low sultry tone. I felt heat instantly overrun my body. A throaty laugh escaped me.

"Well, folks, meet CJ. I know there's bound to be questions, but I have to admit, this is kind of new for both of us so go easy." Quinn advised his audience.

I had the video feed open and could see the questions flooding in. Mir was moderating and promised when I called in that he would do his best to protect me from anything too racy.

"So, viewers' first question: how did you two meet?" Mir asks.

"We connected over a desire to escape something from our pasts." Quinn answered, giving a vulnerable look into the camera. "CJ had reached out to me and I just knew that I needed to know her better."

"So she was a fan?" Mir asked.

"I was." I jumped in. "I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but Quinn's work awakened something inside of me. I reached out to him on a whim, I never expected we'd connect like this."

"None of us did. So Quinn, is this the only time you have ever hooked up with a fan?" Mir fed us the next question.

"First, and hopefully, the last. And to clarify we haven't been physical...yet." Quinn retorted.

"Well, that gets rid of several of these follow-ups for CJ then." Mir muttered.

"What do the viewers want to know?" I asked.

"The fans have surmised that you aren't in the business. What do you do for a living, CJ?" Mir continued.

"I'm in education." I shared vaguely.

"Oh so Quinn is hot for teacher?" Mir joked.

I giggled and Quinn piped up. "Hell yeah, I am."

"Another viewer wants to know if you're intimidated, CJ, by Quinn's occupation?" Mir delivered another question.

"Oh, um, I wouldn't say intimidated. Intrigued. Eager. Hopeful. Maybe?" I threw out quite a few descriptors, all of which were true. I did omit the negative ones, like nervous and anxious, but that had more to do with me than him.

"So does that mean you won't make him give it up?" Mir asked the question we all knew was coming in some form.

"No. I'll support him in whatever he decides to do professionally or otherwise. That's what you do when you care about someone, right?" I replied.

I could see Quinn's cheeks flush a little. He looked up and straight at the camera. "You really are something special, CJ. Folks, I'll tell you honestly that I've been giving thought to some other outlets for my talents even before CJ came along."

"Like escort service?" Mir asked as the suggestion entered the chat.

"Like directing. Maybe trying to convert others to my brand. I don't know. There's something missing in my life. I thought it was a partner, but now that I have CJ, I realize that it's more than that." Quinn answered.
