It had been six days since George had died. Dream was not taking it well, most of his time and energy was now focused on training harder than ever. He wanted to kill Technoblade for what he had done. I'll avenge you, George. Dream promised. He only had two more fights until he got to fight Technoblade and end this... this feeling of pain. One Techno was dead, he would feel accomplished, George would be avenged.

"Next fight in five minutes, let's get you to the arena," Dream turned around from staring out his window and headed after a guard. After George had died Dream hadn't made another escape attempt and now he was a bit less heavily guarded than before. Two guards followed him as he headed for the room, he knew where it was by now and they didn't protest. He entered and took his armor off the stand. He had decided to pain a word on it, one simple word. George. He painted it in blue letters, George's favorite color, and each fight he imagined it was Technoblade he was killing, not someone else.

"Two more fights and we'll have ourselves a real show!" The announcer called. "Dream verses Technoblade!" Dream said nothing and held his diamond blade firmly, narrowing his eyes at the iron door. "Anyway, we have in our left court... Legend!" The crowd started to cheer and Dream sighed. "And on our right... Dream!" The cheers were even louder now and Dream hesitated for a moment before heading out and marching toward his new victim. It was a man with black, yellow, and orange colored armor and a hood covering his dark brown hair. His eyes were dark brown, matching his hair, and he was fairly tall.

"Well met," The man growled. Dream said nothing. He'd stopped talking to these people weeks ago, he was here to fight, not to chat.

"Let the battle begin!" The announcer shouted, his voice booming out across the bleachers and echoing through the arena. Legend attacked first, swinging his blade at Dream fiercely. Dream deflected it and thrust him away, swinging again and catching the other man on the chest. His armor deflected the blow for him but the impact sent him staggering backward. Dream used that moment of failure to attack again, this time aiming for Legend's shoulder this time. He landed a particularly deep blow on his shoulder and dodged another. Legend managed to land a hard blow on the side of Dream's head, causing him to lose his balance and feel slightly dizzy for a moment.

Dream gasped and staggered away, shaking his head quickly and just managing to deflect the next blow weekly. He grunted and pushed back, throwing Legend away from him and landing another blow on Legend's leg. Legend yelped and limped back a ways, giving Dream another chance to lash out. He growled and flung the diamond blade out of Legend's grasp and knocked him to the ground.

He raised his sword and in one swift movement, the fight was over. Dream took a deep breath and turned around, heading back to the iron door. He sighed s it closed behind him and the cheers became muffled by the iron wall. Dream hadn't even kept track of the people he killed, he forgot basically all of their names but he remembered killing each of them. He closed his eyes for a moment and shivered, taking off his armor and setting it aside before placing the diamond sword on a table and heading for the door.

Two guards were there to lead Dream back to his cell and soon he was alone again, staring at the wall tiredly. He hadn't even met this 'MrBeast' guy... all he knew was that he was the ring leader of this whole operation and he was also the announcer. Chris had told him.

"Hello," Dream looked up to see Karl watching him. He forced back a sharp comment, recalling Chris telling him to give Karl another chance, and just nodded. Karl looked slightly nervous and he shifted every so often. "I was just wondering if... if you'd want to practice with me?" Dream was actually a bit surprised.

"Sure," Dream shrugged, getting to his feet. Karl and another guard opened the iron door and led Dream to the practice room. Karl still seemed a bit nervous and Dream wondered why. He didn't comment on it, just headed into the room. There weren't many people in the practice room and Dream was relieved to see that Technoblade wasn't amongst them. Just a few people talking or shooting bows, no one was fighting each other and Dream remembered they weren't supposed to.

"You finally showed up," Dream turned to see Chris staring at Karl. "You need to get to know Dream, he's more than just a future champion," Dream gritted his teeth. He didn't want to be the champion, he just wanted to kill Technoblade and leave, but he knew that wouldn't be possible.

"I'm trying," Karl muttered, glancing at Dream as he took a wooden ax from the shelf.

"So he likes axes," Chris said. "Pay attention," Karl nodded and headed over to dream, taking a wooden sword carefully. "This still isn't really allowed, you know," Chris sighed. "But I think I'll let it happen," Dream turned and glanced around. People had spotted him and Karl and had set aside what they had been doing to gather in a loose ring around them. Karl attacked first and Dream blocked, he decided to go easy, Karl didn't seem like a really great fighter and he didn't want to end up hurting him. He remembered Technoblade blocking him over and over and how frustrated he had been when he was unable to land a single blow, is this how Karl felt now?

"I thought you were supposed to be training me, not the other way around," Dream commented. striking Karl lightly on the shoulder with the flat side of his ax. "You gotta try harder," Dream said as Karl stumbled back again. Karl took a deep breath and swung as hard as he could. Dream still managed to block but the impact sent him back a few paces. The sticks supporting their weapons were pressed against each other now and Dream shoved Karl away roughly, forcing him to the ground and knocking the weapon out of his hands.

"I win," He said, pointing the ax at Karl's neck.

"Please don't hurt me!" Karl cried, his eyes wide. Dream stopped, confused for a moment.

"What do you mean-" He started. Before he could finish someone knocked the ax out of his hands and grabbed one of his wrists. "Hey!" He yelled, jerking away and glaring at the guard. "I'm not going to hurt him," He growled, glancing at Karl who scrambled to his feet at once. Karl hurried to Chris's side and Chris sighed.

"Calm down, Karl," He muttered.

"He almost killed me!" Karl gasped. No I did not! Dream thought angrily.

"I didn't-" Before he could finish, two people grabbed him and started forcing him out the doors. Dream growled and glared at Karl as they dragged him away but he didn't say anything. Karl mostly just looked scared and Dream sighed. He's not that bad, he's just terrified of me. Dream realized. I don't want people to be terrified of me. With that, he jerked out of the guards' grasps and bolted down the hall. Enough was enough.
