Part 24- Phone Calls

Saturday brought on a terrible hangover, you sent most of the day over the toilet seat, puking your guts out. You hadn't realized how much you had actually drank Friday.

You muster up the energy to get into the shower. Undressing, you turn on the water to a burning hot temperature. As you climb into the shower, your phone continues to blow up from text from coworkers wanting to know what happened with you and Carter. You ignore them and wash off the tiredness.

After your shower, you clean up around your apartment, all while your phone continues to blow up. You eventually give in and answer them.

One was from Carter, apologizing for what happened. You ignore the text and move onto another.

Three from Daniel. He asked me if I wanted to go out to lunch which I rejected because I was still slightly hung over.

As you're scrolling through your notifications, you get a call from Spencer. You're quick to answer it.

"Hey Spence!" You sound as cheerfully as you can, trying but failing to hide your hangover.

"Hey angel, how's your hangover treating you?" He chuckles " and how's yours hand?"

You were confused why he was asking about your hand, then it hit you. He had somehow found out about you hitting Carter.

"How- how did you find out?!" You were perplexed.

"Garcia found a video on YouTube about it. Serves him right though. He had it coming." He smirks.

"Yeah. How's the case going?" You change the subject.

"It's not too hard, we think we have a lead so-" you hear someone cut Spencer off, a female voice... Emily's. It sounds like she's laughing.

"Is that Emily?" You laugh.

"Yeah...she's being annoying." He pouts. That makes her laugh harder.

"What is she laughing about?" You figured that they were teasing Spencer.

"They're just messing with me." He says "No! Give it back!" You hear Spencer's voice grow distant as he yells.

"Hey Y/n! You're on speaker." You can hear Morgan laughing now, along with JJ and Rossi let out a chuckle.

"Hey guys! What are you teasing Spencer about, maybe I can help." You laugh.

"HEY!" You hear Spencer protest. JJ erupts into a fit of laughter.

"Well kid... it's about you. Nothing bad but Spencer would kill us if we told you." Rossi laughs.

"Oh well!" You remind yourself that you're trying to be a good girl.

"Okay guys, I'm going to go back to talking to my girlfriend without your annoying teasing." Spencer says and you can tell he's picking up his phone because his voice gets louder.

"Oh man! I want to talk to Y/n!" JJ pipes in.

"I'm going outside." Spencer says grumpily. Spencer takes you off of speaker and walks outside. "Okay, now I'm back."

"Oh Dr. Reid, I wish you were here. I'm feeling a bit lonely." You say in a low voice.

"Oh angel... just you wait. When I see you, I'll fuck you no matter where we are." You go silent, face burning hot.

"I- ugh! Why do you do this to me?!" You hear Spencer laugh at your frustration.

"You started it. Well as much as I'd like to talk to you the whole day, I've got to get back to the case." He says his goodbyes and leaves you to finish looking through your notifications.
