You woke up early, mad at yourself for becoming a teacher, to get ready for your first day. You make coffee and eat breakfast after putting on a little bit of makeup.

You can't decide what to wear so you grab a cute black skirt with a light purple button up.
"They are just kids, they don't care what you wear stupid!" You mumbled to yourself.

You grab your purse and keys and head to your car. After getting into your car, you set your purse into the passenger seat and put on some music.

When you arrive to the school, you are a ball of nerves. You hurry to your classroom to make sure everything is set before the kids start to get dropped off.

Right as you get to your classroom you get a call from a friend and a parent of a student.

"Hey JJ, what's up? You ask. You haven't talked to JJ in a while but you guys used to be good friends. You had recently got back in touch with her after hearing that you would be teaching her son, Henry.

"Hey, I just wanted to let you know that neither me or Will are going to be dropping of Henry today, we got really sick and a friend volunteered to take him. You might know him actually, it's—" JJ is interrupted a knock on my door.

"Sorry to have to interrupted you JJ but I have to go. Get better so you can go back to kicking criminal butt!" You joke. You hang up after JJ says bye, and start letting the students in.

Your students got dropped off by their parents one by one. You welcomed each student as they came in and waved the parents goodbye. You did that until you saw someone you recognize walked into the room. Your jaw dropped.

Spencer Reid himself walked in with Henry. You were speechless. Spencer was looking at the classroom walls, which were decorated with colorful posters and stuff. Henry ran up to you and pulled you into a hug, which caused Spencer to look at you. As soon as he saw you, he looked stunned. You couldn't look away from him, he looked gorgeous. You were staring at each other until Henry pulled away and asked you were he was supposed to sit. All you could do was point. Once Henry ran off, you looked back to Spencer, who was still staring at you.

Clearing your throat you said "What a coincidence" you managed to make out with a giggle "When JJ told me that a friend was taking Henry, I never imagined you." you laugh. He continued to stare at you with the most beautiful eyes you had ever seen. He took a step towards you, closing the space between the two of you. You began to stutter, unable to speak again.

" Did you know purple is my favorite color?" He stated looking down at your shirt. You cheeks were burning now. "It looks good on you." He said so casually like he wasn't an inch away from your face. You were now looking at his lips. They looked so soft. Your breathing became staggered.

After mustering up enough courage to speak, you muttered "I.. it's nice to see you again. After you left, I realized I didn't have your number."

"Sorry, I got called away on a case, I'm a profiler with JJ." He explained. Great, now you can't ever read a murder mystery book again without thinking of him.

You were back to looking at him in the eyes. He smelled so good, you didn't think a person could smell this good. Your mind was foggy as you tried to think of things to say. You were so distracted by his presences.

Your thoughts were interrupted when another student and parent walked in. You break away from Spencer and walk towards the student to greet them. After a few more students walked in and parents leaving, you turned back to Spencer who has been staring at you the whole time.

"You're great with kids y/n." He complimented you.

"Thank you, that's kinda why I took this job. I've always loved kids, they are just so innocent and pure. It makes me happy to be able to play a part in their life, even if it's just as their teacher." You confess.

"That's beautiful y/n..." he said "... you're beautiful." He mumbles so quietly that you weren't able to make out the last part.

"What?" You asked.

He didn't repeat himself, he just continued to talk. "And don't say "just", being a teacher is a very important role in a child's life." He says hoping to make you realize how much you matter. "Did you know that children as young as three tend to judge a person's character traits. That means that if they like you it means that you are most likely a good person." He rambles, making you laugh.

"Is that your way of saying I'm a good person?" You laugh.

"Well... yes actually" he says, embarrassed.

"Well.. thank you then. You seem like a good person yourself. I saw how you were with Henry when you walked in." You say.

"I tend to ramble when I get nervous." He confesses.

"Why are you nervous?" You ask, then you see him blush and realize that he's nervous because of you.

"Before you left the other day, I—" before you could finish your sentence, the school bell rang, making you feel defeated. You can't seem to get his number!

"I better leave you to teach these kids." He says gesturing towards the rows of desk filled with children. "See you later?" He asked before walking towards the door.

"I'll be here!" You yell as he leaves. You turn towards the kids and prepare yourself for the day.
