Spencer's POV

I carefully get out of bed, and grabbing your phone as you walk into the living room. You had went to call her yesterday to get some answers from y/n's half sentences, but she didn't want you to leave so you waited till she was asleep.

I look at the time, it was 5:30, I worried that Garcia wouldn't be up, but I needed to talk to her, so I dial her number.

"Hello, your friendly neighbor hacker here! What can I do for you?"

"Hey Garcia, I need a favor. It's about y/n, or her dad to be exact."

"Do you really think that's the best idea Spencer?"

"It really important, I need to know where he lives."

"Umm... okay, he lives..." I hear typing "Two blocks down from y/n's apartment. Apartment number 435. He just moved two months ago."

Of course he lived close to y/n, he'd want to be able to get to her at a moments notice.

"Yikes, he's a pretty bad guy. He got arrested for abuse but was never sent to prison. Y/n was actually the one to call the police." Garcia says in a sad tone.
"Poor y/n, I don't know how she was able to handle so well. It says he that she moved a state away for college and never turned back."

"I don't want to hear all that, if I'm supposed to know, y/n will tell me. I just needed his address so I can go have a talk with him."

"Be careful Spence, he got arrested two weeks ago for a bar fight. He's an alcoholic."

"I have a question. Will you look at his medical bills? Has he gone to the doctor at all in the last month or two?"

"Let me check... it says here that he went to the doctor's about a month ago and has a clean bill of health."

"So he is completely healthy?"

"Looks like it, why?"

"He told y/n that he had cancer. He lied to her to get close to her." I hear a scream from the bedroom.

"I have to go Garcia, see you at work." You hang up before she can even say goodbye, and run into the bedroom.

End of Spencer's POV

You had woken up a few times to make sure Spencer hadn't left, but you had slept for the first time in what felt like a while without having a nightmare. He had put some clothes on you while you were asleep.

You knew that Spencer had left the bed when you started having a nightmare.

Nightmare

"I told you that the next one would be you." Your dad says.

"You missed my head!" Your mom says cockily like she isn't bleeding out.

"I wasn't talking to you, idiot, I was talking to our daughter." He smirks.

You turn to stare at your dad.

"You wouldn't." You stare down the barrel of your gun, he had found your gun.

Spencer busts into the room with the rest of the team.

"Put the gun down, NOW!" Spencer yells.

This is where the dream changes for the worse.
