so rehearsal turned out to be quite fun. the atmosphere was nice and we had a good time watching them play their own music. i had heard they were bad, but personally i really liked them. they had a unique... vibe. they also played songs from the strokes, nirvana, the clash... and even the killers, more specifically mr. brightside, requested by me.
as i was checking my phone messages rodrick approached me.
"hey brit girl, are you having fun?" he smiled. oh god he was cute.
"yeah, i expected you guys to suck, but i actually enjoyed it." i said jokingly. he looked at me with a surprised expression on his face.
"you really liked it?"
"yes! i mean i grew up with that kind of music, my dad's kind of a rockstar" he laughed. "it's true! instead of lullabies my dad used to sing me and my siblings the cure songs to sleep."
"that's so cool, i bet you grew up with the best music man, i love british music. i mean the cure, joy division, the smiths, black sabbath, radiohead... and i could go on like this all night"
i smiled. you could tell that he really liked talking about music because of the way his eyes lighted up when he did.
"well, you americans don't stay behind! what about aerosmith, nirvana, rhcp, r.e.m, and oh god don't get me started with the killers!!!"
"yeah yeah but what about britney spears, bitch?" zane suddenly appeared making us both laugh. "you guys are so boring listening to the same kind of music every single day" he rolled his eyes.
"oi! that's not true i like abba as well" everyone seemed to be surprised.
"oh my god ruby how old are you like, sixty four?!" i glared at ben and pretended i was offended.
