Volume 2 Chapter 2: Deal Or No Deal?

Previously: She threw up her right hand and half the street got frozen. The Nomu dodged the attack and hit her in the air with its sharp tail. She coughed out more blood and just before she started to fall back down the Nomu leaped into the air and landed on her on top of a building's rooftop. She heard her bones breaking upon impact. It punched her face once and then repeated the process over and over again until she was covered with her own blood. It grabbed her face and started to squeeze. But she was still breathing somehow, she reached up weakly and grabbed its big wrist. "Get off of me!" She screamed until her voice broke. Its entire body froze over from the inside out. She dug her nails into his frozen wrist. It started to crack. She was losing consciousness. But the tail wasn't frozen and was just about to impale itself with her...

A few red feathers flew through the air and pierced the tail down. "Hey there, do you need any help?" She looked over to see a familiar face she's seen on tv. "Yes, please." He saluted to her and decapitated the frozen Nomu. It shattered into big pieces of frozen flesh. She tried to move but nothing wouldn't respond. She scooped her up and smirked slightly. "What's your name, young lady?" She looked at him weakly,"Izumi Todoroki." His eyes widened slightly at her last name. "You are Endeavor's daughter?" She nodded her head reluctantly. He flew even faster than before,"Hold on, I'll make sure you won't die." She reached out her hand and grabbed his jacket," Dabi got away..." Her hand became limp and she closed her eyes. He went his max speed,"Don't die, Mrs. Todoroki!"

He arrived at the nearest hospital, she was rushed into surgery with the best doctors. Hawks called her guardian Shota Aizawa, and he called her family members that she cared about.

Shoto, Natsuo, Fuyumi, and Shota Aizawa rushed into the hospital to see the #3 pro hero Hawks leaning up against the wall. He walked towards them and waved,"Heya, don't worry about Izumi Todoroki. I got here as fast as I could, the doctors said she's being healed by the nurses now. Her condition is stable." They all looked relieved,"Eraserhead, May I speak with you?" He nodded his head and they walked to a more secluded part of the hospital.

Hawks: "The hospital said that you are her guardian? What happened to her?"

Aizawa: "I can't tell you personal things but she was recently rescued from the clutches of the league of villains. She shared some information with the school and got two villains arrested, including a traitor."

Hawks: "Interesting, I wonder if she knows any more... Can I talk to her about it?"

Aizawa: "Yes but, she's an adult so you don't need my permission to talk to her. Just let me know your intentions, I'm her guardian for security and safety reasons."

Hawks: "How so?"

Aizawa: "The Villians brainwashed her with physical and mental torture for 3 years straight. Be careful when speaking to her, her mind is a bit fucked up."

Hawks: "Got it, good to know. How old is she?"

Aizawa: "Apparently she's 19 years old today. According to her two brothers over there. They were celebrating her birthday until she was attacked by thugs."

Hawks: "Okay, thanks for letting me know."

A few hours later: (Izumi Todoroki comes out of surgery.)

Shoto: "Sis!" He sprinted towards her and hugged her. But she groaned in pain.

Natsuo: He pulled his little brother away from the medical bed,"Be careful. She's healing."
