Someone requested it so here it is...

(Y/n)'s POV:

I hadn't seen Neville all day, it was as though he was avoiding me. But knowing him, there was no way he was, he would have still shown up to his classes, so something was clearly wrong.

I never really liked magical history, so I decided to look for my boyfriend instead. It took a little bit of looking and a little bit of socialization, but finally I found him curled up in his dorm room bed.

He was pale, clammy, and flushed, so I immediately knew he was sick. I laid a gentle hand on his forehead to gauge his fever. It was high, but not too bad where I needed to take him to the hospital wing.

I walked into the shared dorm bathroom and grabbed a washcloth off the shelf. I ran it under cold water and then walked back to Neville. I laid the cold cloth on his forehead and then sat on the side of the bed, gently stroking his cheek.

It only took about a minute before Neville's eyes tiredly fluttering open. "Morning Hun. Not feeling too good are we?" He rapidly shook his head, before clamping a hand over his mouth and jumping up, rushing toward the bathroom.

I hurriedly followed after him, only stopping when the door slammed in my face. I gently knocked when I heard him retching, asking if I could come in and help. All I got was a whine, and I decided that was the best I was gonna get, before gently pushing the door open.

I felt my heart clench at the sight. Neville was thrown over the toilet haphazardly sobbing, body lurching with every painful heave his stomach forced. I ran over and gently began to rub his back, pulling his dark brown hair out of his eyes and off his sticky forehead in the process.

He leaned into my touch slightly but was then ripped away by another violent heave. I once again rubbed his back and waited until his stomach had nothing left to bring up. Once I was sure he was finished, I leaned over to flush the toilet, then pulled him back against my chest.

We sat there until his sobbing stopped, and then decided it would be more comfy in bed. I sat a trash can on the nightstand along with a glass of water, and then returned the earlier cloth to his forehead.

Right as I was about to leave, he did the little grabby hands at me, asking me to cuddle with him. I awed at how childlike and innocent he looked, and pulled back the covers to get into the small bed beside him.

Neville wasted no time cuddling into my side, and burying his overheated face in my chest. I gently ran my fingers over his bloated stomach, he seemed to relax even if it only a bit. I continued to rub his stomach as his eyes once again fluttered shut and he drifted back into a fevered dreamland.

Before I realized it, my eyes too fluttered shut.

The next time I awoke, it wasn't in the most pleasant of circumstances. I woke to the sounds of Neville gagging harshly into the trash bin that I had put on the nightstand before. As I did earlier, I wasted no time rubbing soothing circles on his back and comforting him until the vomiting bout finished.

Once he was done, I used a spell to empty the bin, and then handed him the glass of water, urging him to drink some.

When he saw the pleading look in my eyes, he hesisitantly grabbed the cup from my hand and drank a few small sips. After that, he handed the glass back, signaling that he was done.

I helped him lay down again, but this time decided to write a quick letter to Dumbledore to let him know that me and Neville wouldn't be in class for today and possibly tomorrow. I sent my owl off with the letter, then got started on the homework I got before I dipped.

Luckily I only actually went to 2 classes. Unluckily, those classes were potions and DADA, both of whichs homework included writing papers. With a heavy sigh, I pulled out some parchment, a quill and ink and got started on my potions essay, knowing that due to Snape, I had to try a lot harder on this one.

I made sure to check over my shoulder every few minutes to make sure Neville was okay, seeing that he was still sound asleep, I turned back to my paper.

It only took another 30 minutes to complete the essay, and then I was back at my boyfriend's bedside. I could write the DADA paper later.

I stroked his sweaty forehead and gently dragged the cold cloth around his face and neck, hoping to help cool him down. I placed it back on his forehead and then sat down on the edge of the bed.

I sat with him through the night, helping him to the bathroom when he was sick so he didn't wake his dorm mates, and holding him when he cried after the harsh fits.

By the morning, he was doing better,  his fever was lower, and the vomiting had stopped, but he still wasn't back at 100%.

I continued to look after him for one more day before he was finally healthy enough to go back to classes, I was so happy to see my cheerful Neville again. Luckily, I had a strong enough immune system that I didn't get the bug from Neville.

I hope yall liked it, sorry It was so short. Let me know in the comments what over one shots yall wanna see. BYEEE!!!
