Kageyama's POV:

I woke up to my alarm blaring in my ears. The first thing I noticed is how badly the loud sound made my head hurt. I threw off my warm blanket and sat up, only to be assaulted with extreme nausea and dizziness that make me fall right back down. As much as I would love to stay in bed, I knew I couldn't miss volleyball practice, plus if I stayed home it was only a matter of time before (Y/n) showed up.

I let out a heavy sigh and heaved myself from my bed. I slowly got dressed, careful not to upset my head or stomach anymore, and then grabbed my school bag and trudged down the stairs. Thankfully I was already running late from the extra minutes I spent in my bed, so I had an excuse to just head out the door and skip breakfast.

~~time skip~~

By the time to school, I knew there was no way I wasn't gonna throw up. I quickly rushed to the far bathrooms so I didn't need to worry about anyone coming in. I jogged into the bathroom and ran into a stall, dropping to my knees in front of the dirty toilet.

The smell alone made me gag and after that, my dinner from last night soon followed. Once I was done purging the minimal amount of food in my stomach, wiped my mouth on some toilet paper and flushed the toilet.

I walked out of the bathroom, the full extent of my exhaustion finally setting in and dragged my heavy body out of the vomit dealing bathroom. I have my first period with my girlfriend (y/n) and I was just silently hoping she didn't notice my condition, knowing she would force me to go home. But it was unlikely, she was very observant and could read me like a book.

(Y/n)'s POV:

One look at my staggering boyfriend and I knew something was wrong. He was pale as a sheet and his eyes looked glazed over and lifeless. I wasted no time rushing over to him and pulling him to the side.

"Hey, hun are you okay?" I questioned in a worried tone. He looked away from me, knowing I would see through him if he didn't.

"I'm fine, just a little tired." Bingo, there's the lie. Knowing he wasn't gonna budge until his body forces him to, I just gave him a small nod and lead him to our first class. As soon as we walked in, Kageyama immediately beelined for his desk. He fell heavily into the wooden chair and laid his head on the cool surface.

It took every fibre of my being not to run over to him, comfort him or even do anything. Instead, I locked my fingers around my desk in an iron grip. All I could think about was what could happen in the next periods when I'm not there. This was the only class besides lunch I had with my sick boyfriend.

~~~Time skip to volleyball practice cause I'm lazy~~~
Kageyama's POV:
I had managed to get through the rest of the school day without throwing up again, but I was pretty sure it wasn't gonna stay that way.
I could feel my stomach violently churning as I ran for the ball. My set was way off but of course Hinata got it all the same.
My head was swimming and I could feel the acidic saliva pooling in the back of my throat. I ignored Daichi's toss all together and sprinted out of the gym to the nearest bathroom. There was no time to try and get to one away from the team.
I shoulder checked the door while I was running, throwing me off balance and sending me to the dirty tiled ground. The force of the impact pushed my stomach over the edge and I heaved up a small amount of vomit onto the bathroom floor.
I gathered the strength to haul my ass to the disgusting toilet and continued to get sick into the porcelain bowl.
It only took 5 minutes for my worried girlfriend to rush into the bathroom, narrowly avoiding the puddle of sick on the ground as she ran over to my still retching form.
(Y/n)'s POV:
I instantly knew what was wrong when Kageyama sprinted out of the gym and I wasted no time chasing after him. I watched as he darted into the closest bathroom and stopped for a minute so I didn't startle him.
All fucks to the wind tho when I heard him crash to the tile and gag. I ran into the men's bathroom, jumping over the vomit on the ground. I noticed he had moved and managed to get to a stall so I quickly swerved into it and crouched down next to my sick boyfriend.
I gently rubbed his back as he continued to puke into the gross school toilet. He either had thrown up earlier or didn't eat last night because all that he could bring up was stomach acid.
I leaned him against the wall before I flushed the toilet, then handed him some toilet paper so he could clean up a bit.
Once I was sure his stomach was semi calm, I carefully pulled him up, and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. I slowly lead him to my car, reasoning that I could always text the team about the situation and I just needed to get Kageyama home.
I let the sick boy lean against my car as I fished my keys out of my bag that was thankfully still on my back. Once I had the small metal objects in my hand, I unlocked the car and helped him sit buckle.
I handed him a plastic bag that I had in my glove box just incase then shut the car door walking over to my side.
Luckily he managed to keep his stomach contents down until I got to his house. Once I parked in his driveway, I once again helped him unbuckle and get into the house.
I made sure he was comfortable, placing a cold cloth on his sweaty forehead, and filling a glass of water then placing it on his bed table within arms reach. I pried the plastic bag out of his clamped hands, and showed him the trash bin I had put next to his bed.
When I was finished I turned to leave knowing that his mom would be home soon, but was stopped by a clammy hand grabbing my wrist. I laughed slightly at the bashful look on his face. I crawled into the small futon behind him and played with his hair until Kageyama's fever finally knocked him out.
A/n: Welp I hope you liked it. Sorry it took so long to get out, finals are a bitch. Lmk In the comments and help me decide if I should write for Klaus, Kol, Kai, Enzo or Tyler next. Thanks for reading byeeee!
