A/n: SO the title says Sam but really it's Sam and Dean just like the other one, Sammy just is your bf in this one and Dean is the best friend.
(Y/n)'s POV:
I had received a text late last night from Cas telling me to come over no explanation or anything just 'come to the bunker'. When I got there I found Sam camped out in the bathroom, panting heavily over the porcelain basin, eyes drooping shut. Sweat shined on his forehead, as he leaned against the toilet seat finally flushing it with a shaky hand when he was certain he was done.
Cas, who had been awkwardly standing over Sam not really knowing how to handle the situation, wasted no time in disappearing as soon as he saw me enter the bathroom. Dean was nowhere to be seen but I could hear his music blaring loudly from his room, he was never very good with puke or sickness in general so I was usually the one called to take care of them when either of them got sick.
Once I had my boyfriend settled in on the couch with a bucket beside him and a cold rag on his forehead to help with the fever, I made my way to the older Winchester's room, music still echoing loudly from inside. I gently pushed the door open, not bothering to knock knowing there was no way he could hear it over the music.
I step into the dimly lit room, glancing around for the elder brother. There was no sign of Dean, but I had a sneaking suspicion of what was happening when I saw a thin stream of light slipping from under the adjoining bathroom door. When I finally pushed the door open, I was surprised to see Cas sitting beside the vomiting Dean gently stroking circles across his back.
I wordlessly make my way to the sink, wetting a rag with cold water then walked over to the pair, manoeuvring around Cas so I could hold the cold rag to Dean's sweat-soaked forehead. Once Dean sat back away from the toilet, Cas reached around him to flush away the sick so the still dangerously nauseous man wouldn't have to stare at it.
After giving Cas a few pointers on how to help Dean and making sure he would come get me if they needed ANYTHING, Cas finally managed to get me out of the room and headed back to my boyfriend who was currently residing on the couch. I gently plopped down beside the sick brunette, placing a comforting hand on his hunched back. He had his head resting heavily in his hands, a telltale sign he had a headache.
I got up again and quickly ran to the kitchen for a sleeve of crackers and a cold washcloth before returning to my sick boyfriend. I pulled the sleeve from my pocket and showed it to him, just as I was about to begin speaking I was quickly cut off.
"I'm not eating," Sam stated in a gravelly voice.
"Do you have a headache right now?" I asked patiently, gently draping the cold towel across the back of his feverish neck.
"A little...."
"That's because you're hungry. If you eat one, you'll feel better." I instruct gently.
"I'm sick. Be nice to me." He muttered, taking the pack of crackers from me.
Sam slowly raised it to his mouth, then took a bite that was smaller than one a mouse would have taken. "Seriously?" I demanded.
"I'm eating slowly!" He exclaimed, taking another tiny bite. I gave him a 'really' look and he let out a dramatic sigh. "Fine," Sam said, then ate the rest of his cracker. Sam swallowed it then quickly ate 2 more when his stomach was okay with the first one.
As he reached for the fourth one, he stopped suddenly. His eyes widened and he jumped off the couch, knocking the crackers to the floor as he rushed out of the room. I followed him straight into the bathroom, where the crackers he'd eaten came back up. I pulled his hair away from his mouth and into a lil man bun, then began rubbing his back. "I am so sorry," I said, guilt flooding through me.
"I didn't know I'd throw up, I was being dramatic. Plus you only asked me to eat 1, I was the one that chose to eat the other 2 so technically I made myself sick." He said, waving away my worries.
"Yeah, but still," I said, grabbing a piece of toilet paper and wiping it at the corners of his mouth.
"Did you just throw up?" Dean asked, rushing to the doorway albeit panting heavily while doing so, a worried Cas not far behind him.
"Obviously." Sam snapped.
"Well excuuuse me," Dean snapped right back
"Okay boys, calm down. I'm putting you both in the living room so I can keep an eye on you so you better behave." I heard two annoyed huffs then carefully begin helping Sam back to the couch, knowing Cas could handle Dean. I gently laid my boyfriend on the couch, placing the cold washrag from earlier on his forehead. I toss a thin throw blanket over him, then once again run to the kitchen, grabbing another sick bucket, so there'd be one for each Winchester.
I made my way back to the living room after also retrieving 2 water bottles, balancing all my items in my arms. "Ha. Ha. Very funny Sammy" I hear Dean say sarcastically as I walk into the room. He stopped talking suddenly and gripped his stomach tightly, his face draining of all colour. "I think I'm gonna puke." He muttered just barely loud enough for me to hear.
"That's perfectly okay," I soothe softly, extending my strides so I got the bucket to him in time.
I hand the basin to the sick man once I finally reached him, Dean thankfully hadn't thrown up yet and smiles at me gratefully when he saw the bucket in my hands. He places the bucket under his chin, retches echoing loudly from the plastic. I carefully sit down beside him on the couch and place a comforting hand on his back, rubbing soothing circles as he continued to puke into the sick bin.
Once Dean was finally done I set the sick filled bin on the floor, before slowly helping him take a few smalls sips of water then lay back down. I found another random throw blanket they had laying around and tossed it over Dean, also placing the cold cloth back on his fever-ridden forehead. I let Cas mother Dean again when I was done getting him comfortable, returning to the other Winchester Brother who was just as sick.
I sat down beside my boyfriend, Sammy wasting no time curling up in my crossed legs. I placed a hand on his now loose hair and began gently combing my fingers through the long brown locks. Both boys had drifted off not a half an hour later. Cas was still hovering worriedly over Dean and I was still raking my fingers through Sam's sweat-soaked hair.
I could tell that today's was about to be a long-ass day filled with puke. I just really hoped angel vessels couldn't catch human sickness, cause then we'd really be fucked.
