(Y/n)'s POV:

I hadn't seen my usual early rising girlfriend come out of her room yet and by noon I let my worry take over and went to check on her. I carefully pushed her door open, ready for anything to come from the almost pitch-black room. I didn't see her in her bed once my eyes adjusted actually her pillows and covers weren't even there.

I slowly crept towards her adjoined bathroom when I noticed the door cracked and a dim light streaking through it. As I nudge open the door I'm met with a putrid smell. The entire bathroom reeked like vomit and there my girlfriend was, curled up on the cold tiled floor, blankets and pillows were thrown across the room, clearly, she had been in here all night by her level of pure exhaustion.

I crouch down beside my obviously nauseous girlfriend and place a gentle hand on her shoulder. The usual ninja-like woman clearly hadn't noticed me cause right as my hand hit her shoulder she jumped, eyes snapping open at the sudden touch. She relaxed it when she saw it was me but it was too late. The sudden jerk of her body caused her nausea to surge and Natasha was sent scrambling for the icky sick ridden toilet again.

I rub soothing circles on her back as she heaved, clearly empty from throwing up all night. I paused rubbing her back for a minute to tie her vibrant red locks out of the way so they wouldn't get any more mess in them, as there was a little bit at the ends but I could always clean that out with a washcloth later.

"Hey baby, you're clearly empty so how about we move back to the bed so you'll be move comfy? I can grab a trash can in case you feel sick again how's that sound." She just let out a pained moan still hanging over the toilet bowl, not having the energy to give me a real answer. I carefully scoot her back from the toilet and lift her bridal style being extra cautious not to jostle her fragile stomach.

I slowly trudged back to the bed and lay her down on it, she had already stripped down to just her bra and underwear at some point during one of her sick spells last night so I didn't need to worry about that. I grab a throw blanket she had in the corner for whenever people got pukey and tossed it over her and just as promised I move the trash bin from the corner of the room to her bedside so she could reach it, even if we both knew she was empty.

Once she was all tucked in and comfy I raised the blanket just enough so I could slide in next to her knowing she got really clingy when sick. I began stroking her back again knowing she found my touch soothing even when not sick and just as expected she softly nuzzled into my chest curling her heated body around my cold one. After a few minutes when she drifted off again I carefully slide out from under her and ran to the bathroom.

I grab a cold wash rag for her fever as well as some nausea pills and a bottle of cold water. Once I had all the things I head back to my ill girlfriend and place the cold cloth on her forehead. I set the nausea tablets and water on her little bedside table for later when she woke up if she was feeling well enough to try taking it.

I laid back down next to Natasha again and wrap my arms around her, feeling extra protective of her in her moment of weakness. It was weird seeing my usually extremely strong and lively girlfriend so sick and vulnerable, it hurt me that she was feeling so bad. I resumed stroking her back again as it was a distraction from thinking about her current condition. I trace random mindless patterns along her bare back as she drifted off, finally able to get proper rest now that she was out of that bathroom.

I knew at least one Avenger would come looking for us soon if we didn't show so I quietly asked JARVIS to inform Tony about Nat's sickness as well as lock the doors so no one would bother us and or wake Nat. He gives me what sounds like affirmation then goes quiet and I return rubbing Natasha's sweaty feverish back. I smiled slightly at how peaceful she looked when she slept. Wisps of red falling out of the ponytail I loosely tied as she tossed slightly, she almost looked healthy while she was asleep if you didn't pay attention to the abnormal heat and sweat as well as how pale she was, which of course, I couldn't not notice.

She slept until about 3 pm before her stomach finally made her wake up again. I had laid some towels down on either side of her knowing all she was most likely to bring up was a little bit of bile and it was easier to just throw up on the towel than lean over the bed to the trash. Just as expected Natasha soon jolted onto her side and sputtered out a small stream of greenish-yellow liquid onto the cotton fabric below.

I rub her back as she brings up a few more meagre waves of bile onto the towel before collapsing back onto the bed. I use my powers to change the soiled fabric then lay down next to my sickly girl again. I carefully help her rinse out her mouth and take a few sips of water since she said she didn't think she could keep down the nausea pills right now.

Once she was done sipping the cool liquid I set the bottle back on the nightstand and replace the cold cloth on her forehead, before gently pulling her over to me so she knew she could cuddle. I could tell there would be a lot more of these sick spells throughout the day and possibly next night but I would do everything I could to help her.
