Part Thirty-Four

Marie was now 6 months pregnant. Over the last few months. People had stopped talking about the past of her and Dylan. They was so focus on them having a new baby.
Marie was Laying down. Her tummy was moving as the baby was kicking. Dylan had taken Mitch out to the park. Even though there was restrictions. He was allowed out for a short time.
Of course Dylan was sending her messages and pictures of Mitch but also making sure Marie was ok.
He was very protective over Mitch and also Marie.
"Daddy?" Mitch said. While Dylan was Pushing him on the swing.
"Yes son". Dylan said.
"Why don't you and mummy want to show my face to people?" Mitch said. Dylan stopped pushing and walked around and kneeled down in front of him.
"It's not that we don't want to. It's just some of my fans can be a bit too much. We are just trying to keep you safe". Dylan said.
"But I am your son. Surely people will us out together and be like 'that's Dylan O'Brien's so'. " Mitch said.
Dylan knew where he was coming from. He hugged his son. And looked at him.
"And besides when my baby brother or sister comes. People are going to want to see the baby". Mitch said.
Dylan laughed a bit.
"I know. Maybe we can speak to your mum. About allowing that. But only we put pictures up of you guys and no one is allowed to take them". Dylan said.
"Is mummy ok? We have been gone along time!" Mitch said.
"I will text her and see". Dylan said. Mitch smiled and jumped off the swing. Dylan watched him run over to the slide.

Babe are u ok? Mitch asked why we didn't want people seeing him. When he will be seen when we are out and about. Can we talk about this when I get back? Xxxx

I'm ok. Baby is kicking me. I recorded the baby kicking me. Lol. I'm laying on the sofa.

Dylan opened the video and saw what she meant. The baby was kicking a lot. Which was a good thing. Mitch could hear his dads phone and tugged on his arm. Dylan kneeled down and showed him the video Marie had made.
"Baby is kicking?" Mitch said.
"Baby is yes". Dylan said.
They stayed to a little bit longer. Before heading back to the car. Mitch was smiling which made Dylan smile.
The drive back was chatty. Mitch talking to his dad about his baby brother or sister.
"Dad, will you and mummy have another baby after this one is born?" Mitch said. This took Dylan by surprise.
"Erm I don't buddy. That will be up to mummy". Dylan said.
"Oh but didn't you help make the baby?" Mitch said.

Dylan's eyes widen. Mitch never asked them sort of questions before. But he guess with Marie being pregnant he was curious on how the baby was made.
"Maybe we should talk to mummy when we get home". Dylan said.

He was a little bit embarrassed. Of course he knew how there baby was made. But to tell a 5 year old was totally different.

Once back home. Mitch went running into the home. Marie was watching tv. Scrolling throw twitter.

"How's my boy? Did you have a good time?" Marie said cuddling her son.
"I did yes". Mitch said. Placing his hand on her tummy as the baby kicked his hand. Making them laugh.
"How did it go?" Marie said as Dylan lent down and gave her a kiss.
"It's was good. Hardly anyone out". Dylan said.
"I bet. Be like that for a while. So what's up?" Marie said. She notice Dylan was but anxious.
"Mitch asked about us having another baby one this was is born!" Dylan said.
"Wow what did you tell him?" Marie said.
"That it will be up to you. If and when we have another one". Dylan said.
"Well that's far enough". Marie said.
"Yeah but then he said I helped make the baby so he was puzzled on why it would be up to you I think". Dylan said.
"Oh ok. I'm guessing he's not silly. I mean your here we are having another baby. So he knows you helped make the baby". Marie said. Dylan blushed a bit which she thought was sweet.
"Let's see if he says anything else later. Also you wanted to talk to me about showing people him. I get where he's coming from. When we are out people see him. Maybe we could Mark the pictures and ask fans not to take them or edit them you know". Marie said.
"I know. He's bright he's not silly". Dylan said. Rubbing her tummy.

"I'm so big. I can't see my feet when I stand up". Marie said.
"Your not big. Are baby is big! I wish they can find out what we are having". Dylan said.

So far they had no idea if it was a boy or girl. As there baby wouldn't let them know. Marie was due to have another scan soon before she would have the baby. And if they couldn't find out then. Every thing would have to be natural colour until the baby was born.

They had been guessing the sex on the child. Marie wasn't sure. Dylan thought she was having a girl. Sarah thought the same.
Her next scan would be at just over 7 months. And if they couldn't see. It would be a surprise for when the baby was born.

"Ok have to get dinner started". Marie said. Sitting up slowly. Dylan looked at her and stood up.
"What's wrong?" Marie said.
"I will do dinner". Dylan said.
"Dylan babe, I'm pregnant I can still cook dinner". Marie said. Standing up in front of him. He placed his hand on her tummy.
"I know. But you heard what the doctor said. You need to rest". Dylan said.
She knew he was right. Her last check up a few days ago. Showed her blood pressure was high, her feet and ankles was puffy. The doctor at the hospital had made it clear to Marie she needed to rest and stay off her feet as much has possible. Another reason why Dylan was so protected over her even more.
"Ok fine. Can you make that what you made the other night?" Marie said.
"Of course". Dylan said kissing her lips.
Marie couldn't help but laugh and shake her head.
He was so good to her. After every thing they had been put throw they was a lot happier now they was together.
Marie went on twitter and looked throw her feed.

Hi guys. Yes I'm still pregnant. Due in a few months. I can't see my feet and yes for everyone asking Dylan is being such a sweetheart. He's helping a lot. Me I'm tired a lot as well. And no we have no idea what we are having. Hopefully will know soon. It feels like I've been pregnant forever lol. Dylan has been amazing throw out this pregnancy. I am so lucky to have him. She click sent and watched it go into over drive of retweets and comments. Filling up her mentions. She notice Dylan's phone was buzzing away. He came in from the kitchen and looked at his phone. He smiled when he saw she had tweeted.
He retweeted the tweet. But he first wrote a rely.

Love you too sweetie. We can't wait for our baby to be born. She's so tired at the moment. And is still gorgeous. Even though she says she's big. Our baby is big. She is gorgeous.
No we have no idea what we are having. We might not know until the baby is born.

Marie smiled at him when she saw his reply.
"So all ok out there?" Marie said.
"Of course". Dylan said. Mitch came into the living room. He had been doing loads of drawings. He showed them to Marie while Dylan finished cooking dinner.
"These are really nice sweetie". Marie said.
Marie looked at the pictures. Her heart warmed at them.
"Dinner". Dylan said.
They made there way to the table. The food smelt so good.
