Part Fifteen

Sarah looked at her mum. Waiting for answer. But she knew she wasn't going to get one. She knew that right now her mum had a lot to think about.

Dylan was now on his way with Mitch to the swimming pool. Mitch was talking to his dad about everything.
"Daddy are you married". Mitch said.
"No I was. Why do you ask?" Dylan said.
"Your finger it as a ring on it". Mitch said. Dylan looked at his finger.
"No son. I was Married to your mum but no longer". Dylan said in a bit of sad voice. Hoping his son wouldn't pick up on it.
"Why don't you and mummy get married again". Mitch said.
"It's not that simple". Dylan said. Mitch looked at his father.
"Well if you and mummy still love each other you should get married". Mitch said.
Dylan smiled. He didn't want to ruin his sons birthday. So he let his son talk.
He only wish he could marry her again. But thinking back to what Sarah has said. Maybe there was hope.
"Ok we are here". Dylan said. Mitch took of his sit belt and waited for his dad. Dylan opened his sons door. Getting his bag they both walked into the building. Mitch was so happy to be spending to day with his dad. Yes he missed his mum. But he also wanted to spend time with his dad.

Both went into a massive changing room. Mitch putting on his swim suite while Dylan put on his trunks.
"Ready". Mitch said. He had beaten his dad by a few minutes. Dylan laughed and looked at his son.
Soon getting into the water. But Dylan made sure Mitch had his arm bands on.
He watched his soon as he moved around the water.

Back with Marie. She was still with Sarah.
She remembered Dylan would need her address.

Marie looked at Sarah.
"Did you just send him your address?" Sarah asked.
"Well yes he will need it to bring Mitch home won't he". Marie said rolling her eyes. Sarah smiled.
"And what will you do if Mitch asks for his dad to put him to bed or read him a story?" Sarah asked.
Marie knew Sarah was doing her best to get a reaction from her but she wasn't going to. She just looked at her daughter.
Her ex couldn't help but laugh at Sarah's ways to get her mum to say something.
"I'm going to leave in about half an hour. While Mitch is with his dad. I can get some things done". Marie said changing the conversation.
"Ok. Is Dylan going to make sure he has dinner?" Ex said.
"Yes". Marie said. Looking at her phone.
Soon the time passed and Marie was now heading home. It felt a bit strange not having Mitch with her. She hope he was having a good time with his dad.
Marie decided to go back to her place. She looked at the clock.
"Ok guys I'm off". Marie said.
"Ok mum". Sarah said.
Marie left walking to her car. She got into the drivers seat and closed the door. Checking the time again. Before she headed home.

At the swimming pool both Dylan and Mitch was having a good time swimming around. Mitch showing his dad how good he was at swimming. Dylan smiled at his son. Who swam up to him.
"Daddy are you ok?" Mitch asked.
"Yes son. Shall we get out soon and get some food?" Dylan asked.
"Yes I'm getting hungry". Mitch said. Making Dylan laugh his son reminding him of himself at that age.
Getting out and soon getting dried and dressed heading to the cafe which was open but with rules in place.
Dylan looked at his son. Soon his son will be starting school. And even he was starting to worry because of a lot of things that was happening. He decided he would speak to Marie about his worry's when he took Mitch back. He checked his phone and saw the message from her. He kind of smiled when he saw she had texted him her home address.
He looked at his son who was still eating and smiled again.

Once Marie was back home she started tiding up. Doing all sorts of things to keep herself busy. Once it was all done. She decided to take a shower before Mitch came home with his dad.
Stepping into the shower Marie stood under the hot water as it ran down her body. Closing her eyes. Her mind went to that day her and Dylan made there son. This was the first time ever she as this in her head. Stock her head as the pictures kept in her mind. Marie again stock her head trying to get them away. In the end she turned off the shower and picked up the towel wrapping it around her body. Walking out of the shower and into her room. Sitting down on her bed. She signed. Why now was she having these flash backs of her and Dylan. She has had many showers since then but this is the first one ever where her mind as gone back to that day.
Marie dried herself and decided to put on her pjs. As it was getting a bit late. She looked at the time. Mitch would be home soon. And she knew she would have to see Dylan again.
Once all dressed she was sat in front of the tv. Just sat there yes it was turned on but she wasn't really paying much attention to it.
