Dream began walking around the Ghost Realm, eyes peeled for anyone that looked like the kid he was looking for. Wherever the kid was, he was one heck of a hider because Dream could not find him at all. He once found a guy relatively close to the description, well apart from the fact that he was a grown ass man, Dream would—however—still like to believe that he was somehow closer to finding Tommy.

He asked around, and the only thing he got was they saw a kid by that description get dragged over to the courthouse earlier. So, to the courthouse he went.

When he arrived at the courthouse, instead of the normal entrance, he went around and looked for the new arrivals room. It was where they kept the ghosts that have just died and waiting for their names to be called for trial. Unless there was a separate room for captives, Tommy should be there.

"Just here to see if a, umm, relative has shown up?" Dream lied. The black mist like figure of the Reaper moved aside and let Dream enter.

Once inside, Dream scanned the room. No one really paid any attention to him, which was understandable. They were all still panicked about the fact that they're dead. Dream  didn't want to disturb the ghosts there, so he did a quick search and when he didn't find Tommy, he left.

Dream walked away from the courtyard and stopped when he realizes that the crystal ball around his neck was going foggy and glowing. He raised it up and Eret's face popped in. "Did the link work?" They asked.

"Yeah, I can see you guys," Dream said, "and you are no longer at George's."

"Uhuh, we decided to go back to the house so that the ghosts wont loose too much energy," Tubbo said, face pushing Eret away. "We also dropped your sister home by the way."

"Thanks," Dream said, "Speaking of home, shouldn't you be going back? The festival ended, like an hour ago."

"Oh, I told my parents that I was sleeping over here," Tubbo said.

"And what did you tell Tommy's parents?" Dream asked.

"Nothing," Tubbo said.

"They're out on a business trip," Phil explained. "Which is good. We just have to bring him back in the next two weeks."

"Yeah, about that," Dream started, "I haven't been able to find him. I checked the court earlier and they were doing the usual trials and he wasn't in the waiting room, so his trial is probably done—if he even had one at all."

"Do you think he could have escape the Reapers?" Wilbur asked.

"I mean, that's a possibility—which is gonna make this search harder," Dream sighed.

Dream continued to go around the Ghost Realm, searching for Tommy. "Is that him?" Tubbo asked from the crystal ball.

"Tubbo, for the seventeenth time, no," Dream said. "That guy wasn't even blond!"

"He could have dyed his hair!" Tubbo insisted.

"Yeah? How would he do that?" Dream asked.

"I dunno, Ghost parlor?" Tubbo said.

"There's no such thing," Techno's voice came from behind Tubbo.

"How would you know, they could have made one while you're here!" Tubbo said.

"Everyone shut up," Dream said removing the crystal ball necklace form around his neck and stuffed it in the pocket of his hoodie. He wore his neon green hood as Reapers passed him.

"Where the hell is that kid?" One of them asked.

"He couldn't have gone far," the other said. "Why did that guy had to get bitten by a kid?"

"Yeah, this is such a pain."

Once Dream was sure that they were out of earshot, he took out the crystal ball, "Well, at least we know he's on the run."

"Well, that's good news," Phil said before sighing, "and bad news. That means he's probably hiding."

Dream started walking to a certain building. If Tommy's wandering around. It's best to ask there. Dream thought.

"Where are you even going?" Tubbo asked.

"There's this office," Dream started. "They help new ghosts adjust with things, like teach them about spiritual energy, how they can use it, how to recharge. About boundaries and unfinished business, all that stuff."

"Oh," Tubbo said. "You think he could be there?"

"He could be, but I doubt it," Dream said. "He isn't exactly a ghost, is he? But it's worth a try. The people who work there are always on the look out for unfamiliar faces so they can help them."

Dream walked up to the gray door with a sign that says "Guide To Being A Ghost" and knocked. He opened it when he heard a "Come in!" from the inside.

"Dream! It's been a while," a woman with fluffy hair greeted. "What brings you here?"

"Hello, Puffy," Dream smiled at her. "I was wondering if you've seen a blond, tall kid wearing a red and white shirt come here?"

Puffy hummed, "No, I don't think I have."

Dream let out a disappointed sigh. "What now?" Tubbo's voice came from the crystal ball.

"Wh—are you in a call with the Human Realm?" Puffy asked.

"Ahh, yeah," Dream scratched the back of his head. "You see, Tubbo—" he lifted the crystal ball so that Puffy could see the brunet waving from the glass—"has a friend, Tommy, the kid that I'm looking for."

"Did he—did he die?" Puffy asked with a sympathetic face.

Dream shook his head, "He was brought here by Reapers. He wasn't at the courthouse, and apparently the Reapers are on the look out for him too, so he probably escaped," he explained. "I thought maybe you've seen him or something. We're really out of leads right now."

Puffy shook her head, "I'm sorry, but I really haven't," she said. "I'll try asking around too, and help hide him if needed."

"Thank you, Puffy," Dream said.

Puffy let out a chuckled, "No problem."

Dream gave her a final goodbye before heading out. He walked around for a bit more, searching the alleyways and all the possible hiding spots he could think off―public buildings, rooftops, heck he even searched the boxes that some buildings had stocked outside. Despite all that effort though, there is, unfortunately, still no Tommy.

"He's a kid that you say claims to be 6 foot 3! Where the heck is he gonna hide?" Dream said as he emerged from another alleyway, hands thrown up in the air.

"Well would you look who it is," a familiar voice said―amusement evident in his tone.

Dream turned around and found a boy wearing a brown robe, and a white bandana around his head. "Long time no see, Dream."

"Hello, Sapnap."
