I woke up with a pounding headache. I guess this is what it feels like to be hit by a truck.
'Aaah!! I need an Advil', I mumbled as I struggled to get up. I walked down the stairs which seem like a hole task itself. After reaching the kitchen I noticed Jacob making breakfast.
'Good morning love. Are you okay?', he asked concerned. I simply nodded as I reached the cabinet.
'Are you looking for something?', he asked now standing beside me.
'Advil', I mumbled
'We don't have it here. I will ask the pack doctor to get you some', he said as I nodded. As I started to go back to room I feel nausea hit me as bile rise in my throat and I vomited everything .
'Goddess love, you look ill. Damn', Jacob mumbled as he held me close.
'Jacob..', I mumbled as darkness consumed me.

Jacob's POV

Yesterday Aaron was hurt due to Sophia's cold behaviour towards him but, he understands it is not because of her parents missing. I have already put my best tracker to find them.
I smelled the scent that make me swoon.
'Good morning love. Are you okay?', I asked as she looked a bit pale.
'Are you looking for something?', I asked
'Advil', she said softly.
'We don't have it here. I will ask the pack doctor to get some', I said as she nodded.
'Goddess love, you look ill. Damn' I said as i held her close.
'Jacob..', she mumbled and went limp in my arms.
'Rupert', I roared which shook the walls of the castle.
'Your highness', he bowed
'Doctor', I yelled as I took her back to our room.
I could feel Aaron and Leo threatening to go crazy. But, I need to control them for Sophia.
'Your Highness', the doctor bowed
'She vomitted and then fainted doctor check her', my voice came demanding mixture of Leo and Aaron which sent the doctor on his knees.
'My king it will be good if you leave the room, then I will be able to check her. You will only long the process', the doctor said as a growl erupted.
'Mate! Mine', I growled
'Alpha please', Rupert said trying to pull me away.
'No Sophia', I yelled.
'Okay, how about we stand a bit far so, the doctor can work. Okay?', Rupert said trying to make me compromise.

The best was restless, trying to reach his mate. The weather matches the mood of the beast. It was dark and eerie silent.
'Your highness, the queen is okay now. She is a little weak so, I request you to please make sure she eats 3 meal a day with lot of hydration and rest', the doctor said
'Why did she vomitted?', Jacob asked
'It was food poisoning m'lord', the doctor stated.
'You should go to her now, she will wake up any moment', the doctor as Jacob almost ran to their room.
She looked so pale, and tired on the bed.
'Please wake up love', Jacob whispered as he held onto her hand.

'Jacob..', a small whisper came which caught the beast attention.
'Sophia', he smiled as soon as he looked at her beautiful brown doe eyes.
'How are you feeling sweetheart?', he asked
'Good', she smiled.
It is true that Jacob grew on Sophia, she sort of liked him now. He cared for her she knew that for sure.
'Are you sure, should I call a doctor?', he asked
'No dad', she smiled as she looked at the worrywart.
'Okay!', he smiled
'Do you have work?', she asked as Jacob shook his head.
'Lets watch a movie', Sophia suggested to which Jacob smiled and got into the covers with his mate.

The rest of the afternoon was spent watching 3 movies back to back.

'Jacob?', Sophia asked
'Humm', Jacob hummed
'Have you found anything about my parents?', she asked as Jacob froze.
'I have put my best trackers to find your parents love but, it seems like they have sort of... vanished. They left no scent just nothing', he said fearing her reaction.
'Are they in trouble?', she asked
'I don't think so we haven't found any clue for struggle or any foreign scent', he explained as Sophia hummed
'Will I ever find them?', she asked concerned.
'Don't worry darling, we will', he said kissing her head.

Jacob refused to go to work today, insisting to stay with her worried that something will happen to his love. But, Sophia knew his work is important and his presence is needed at work so she somehow sent him to work only with a promise that Rupert will guard her.
Lying down on the bed she was tired and bored out of her life. She wanted to do something but what? She thought.
'Baking!', she squealed, as she immediately got up and changed into comfy clothes and walked out. 'My Queen, do you need something?', Rupert asked. 'Nothing i need to go to kitchen. I wanna bake something', she said 'Offcourse, lead the way Luna', Rupert bowed.

She walked down to the kitchen, happily as she collected all the things needed she needed and goes to baking. After deciding to make some cinnamon rolls, and cupcakes.

Jacob's POV

Sitting in my office, my mind wanders off to my princess. My Lycan and wolf could feel her slowly accepting us. Deciding to go and meet my love, i scurried off to look for her

'Where is Sophia?', i mind linked Rupert 'Luna is in the Kitchen Alpha', he informed as i dismissed him making my way towards the kitchen.

As i entered the kitchen i caught the whiff of something delicious, & i saw Sophia engrossed in icing the cupcakes. She looks so vulnerable right as the feeling of protecting her grew by each second. 'Hummm i smell something delicious', i said as sat on one of the stool. 'Yes, i am making cinnamon rolls and truffle cupcake. Wanna try?', she smiled
'Sure love, i would love to', i smiled as she placed a huge piece of cinnamon rolls and a piece of Truffle cupcake. 'This is tasty sweetheart, i love them. You should bake more often', i said taking a big bite of the cupcake. 'Oh, thankyou so much. I am glad you like it', She smiled as she put a plate for herself.
'Sophia, Alpha King', Cynthia bowed. 'Oh Cynthia i am glad you are here. Come join us, i am cinnamon rolls and Truffle cupcake', Sophia smiled as Cynthia took her seat. 'Jacob why don't you call Rupert please', She asked as i mind linked Rupert to join us in the kitchen. 'Rupert here get yourself some', Sophia smiled as Rupert took a seat beside Cynthia.
'You are a great baker Luna', Cynthia smiled. 'I am glad you like it', Sophia smiled as she clean the the kitchen. 'Cynthia take these extra sweets to the pack house. I made extra, I am sure kids will enjoy it', Sophia said as my wolf purred with the thought of her caring for our pack. 'I am sure kids will love it Luna', Cynthia said as she carry the boxes of treat.
'Ahhh Sophia i want to ask something?', I asked a bit nervous. 'Sure what it is?', Sophia asked
'Aah.. Do you... Aahh wanna go on a date with me?', he asked all red
'Offcourse I would love to', I smiled
'Ok.. okay.. aah I will pick you up at 7', he said as I nodded.
Walking back to my room I texted Cynthia to come and help with dress up.

Finally!! They are going on a date🥺
I am soooo happy!!!
