XXIV- 𝕭𝖆𝖇𝖞 𝕾𝖍𝖔𝖜𝖊𝖗

'Baby King On Board'

Sophia's POV

Cynthia and mom have arranged a baby shower for me. I really did not wanted it but, if these two ladies wanted something they get it. Cynthia was doing my hair and makeup for the shower. When Cynthia told Jacob that it was a only ladies function he pouted like a baby himself but mom forcefully pushed him out of the room.
'Are you ready to see your dress?', mom asked
'Yes!', I smiled all excited.
'Close your eyes', Cynthia said
'Now... Open', mom said.
As I opened my eyes there was a beautiful long olive green dress.

'Oh! Mom this is so pretty', I smiled running my hand on the material.
'Its gonna look more pretty on you', she smiled.
'Come let me help you dress', Cynthia smiled leading me in the closet.
'Here comes baby mama', Cynthia announced as I walked out.
'Oh my baby. Just look at you!', mom said as she teared up.
'You look so pretty Sophia', Cynthia smiled
'Thanks', I smiled back.
'Okay! Its time for you to close your eyes', Cynthia smiled handing me a cloth.
Tying it in my eyes Cynthia and mom held my hands as we walked to the back garden.
'Open it', Cynthia said.
'Surprise mama!!', everyone screamed as I looked around in awe of the decorations
'This is so beautiful', I smiled.
The path was decorated with balloons. There was photobooth, a little tent for kids to play in and a table for food and many more.
'Lets have some pictures first', Cynthia said we walked to a huge 'BABY' sign in the garden where we clicked pictures while others roamed around had food and drinks.
'Call Jacob for picture Cynthia', mom said as she nodded.
After a moment Jacob came out as be looked around with surprise too.
'This is beautiful', he said as he reached near me
'Ya,it's really pretty', I smiled
'And look at you sexy mama', he smiled as he looked at me up and down.
'Thank you', I smiled blushing
'Okay lovebirds let shave few pictures now', Cynthia announced
After having a lot of pictures clicked all around the place Jacob was again forcefully sent back to work.

While I enjoyed with all the ladies while eating and chatting. After playing games for hours about guessing the delivery date and gender of the baby we finished the babh shower with cake cutting.

'Did you enjoyed yourself today love?', Jacob asked
'Yes a lot', I smiled munching on chips.
'I am glad you like it', he smiled
'Do you feel tired?', he asked
'Ya a lot but, your baby seem to have other plans', I said as the baby kicked, the baby seemed to have been a lot active today.
'Dont kick your mommy baby. We want to be healthy for your homecoming', Jacob whispered to my bump kissing it and surprisingly the kicking stopped
'Well seems like the baby already found a favourite', I smiled
'I am gonna be a cool dad love', he winked as I laughed
'I can tell', I smiled as I pecked his lips
'Lets go to sleep now', Jacob said as he switched off the light.

It's 3:00 in the morning and it feels like I have no sleep. I was walking around aimlessly listening to music when I heard Jacob call for me.
'Love you okay?', he aske looking at me.
'Yes! Just can't sleep', I said
'Lets watch a movie. Okay', he said.
'Sure', I nodded
After deciding to watch The Notebook we settled down with popcorn and few other snacks and within the half of the movie my eyes felt heavy as I gave in the darkness.
